Much appreciated!

Just the boost I needed to continue this series :>)

A couple of years ago I was writing a dream journal and was very dedicated to it. I remember dreaming the weirdest stuff back then such as the decline of the law of gravity, flying, turning into a mermaid and so on. I think the writing helped me both at dreaming more interesting and unusual things aswell as remembering the dreams very vividly in the morning. I never got to the point where I could control my dreams, but I just got a feeling I should try again.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your (dream) story.
You should definitely try this again, who knows what stage you reach nowadays...

c ya!

This seems like a fun experiment, To do. But I am afraid that my dreams mostly are violent and may not be nice to share hahaha.. but I could remember a couple of dreams where o was falling of a cliff or something.. and with a jolt I would get up.. I hate those dreams..

@vincentnijman, I tried but I couldn't remember the dream this happens to me often. But i will not give up. So let me change into my goodnight mode and come up with a awesome dream sequence. :-)

I use a dream journal from time to time.
I haven't been able to journal recently. Due to school, I wake up by 5 am and in an hour I'm done and headed for school.

There's little to no time for fun stuff like keeping a dream journal.

what about recording your dream on your phone, just after waking up? you could always listen to it later and decide whether you want to write it down or not ;>)

The voice recording technique never worked for me.
If I were to get back to it, I'd rebuild my memory palace.

It's a 10 story building in my head where I place important details from dreams I want to recall later.

I can sometimes control my dreams. Sometimes I have really vivid dreams, but often I forget the details if I don't tell them to anybody or write about them. So if you want to remember, I guess a dream journal is a good idea. :)

I can sometimes control my dreams.

That's cool!

Dream journaling is fun and a good practice. Since I started it, I remember (part of) my dreams on a daily basis. They just aren't all that interesting or worth sharing. Or sometimes even too private.

Aye! Nice! I started a series about Lucid dreaming a while back. I need to get back on my game. The realm of the un/subconcious is so so so interesting to me and I feel that society, even humanity as a whole, has so much to learn from these wild "hallucinations" we have every night.

Get back on your game!

It is indeed fascinating and - as I don't use any drugs or psychedelics - (lucid) dreaming is the only way to reach that stage. Even though I am meditating on a daily basis - since a month - I am far from reaching a dream like kind of state while being awake.

We got this!!

I do think psychedelics can help though. While not the same stage, it is similar and can make it easier to reach those higher states naturally without them. I used them more than perhaps that ideal minimum amount lol, but I think anyone exploring those other realms of consciousness can greatly benefit from a lil psychedelic adventure.

I believe that but, let's say that I have some reasons for not using drugs (anymore). To be honest, I'm seriously considering to quit drinking alcohol. So, I will need to get my inspiration out of other things. Nature, meditation, daily walks and so on. For now it works, it just leads to different kind of ideas ;>)

That is pretty detailed, nice job dude.
Dabbled with lucid dreaming a few years back and it definitely works. Became lucid in less than two weeks after starting my dream journal. I only stopped when I got the ultimate proof that it works and I was blasted out of the sky flying, with some eerie Earthly sensations when I awoke. Really excited to write the story soon, as I had been wanting to go there for a while.

So I take your cosmic article as reminder for the near future.
Really excited to read more about your lucid adventurers. Told you you were a guy of psychedelic interests - there are many pathways and methods of conciousness alteration ;)

Thanks for the inspiration dude, I am itching to start that article now actually ahahah.

When I write stuff down soon enough after waking up, record it as a voice message or focus on it enough, I am usually able to remember far more than I would think.

Cool to hear about your lucid dreaming success. I am looking forward to reading/ hearing your story about those times.

Today I started reading: Mindfulness Bliss and Beyond: A Meditator's Handbook
I also made it to 40 days of meditation in a row (up till today) but I feel the wisdom in this book is going to make me actually benefit from meditating. I wish I had more than half of it in PDF though ;>)

I am always glad to inspire people and can't wait to see the result of the itch I gave you...

Cosmic hugs,

Vincent

So much other stuff got 2in the way" again, but it is still on my list. I really want those Z articles out of the way first and the music contest deadlines keep me rather occupied at this time <3

Cosmic hugs back to ya dude! <3

This is awesome! I've always been fascinated by lucid dreaming and the crazy things my subconscious creates. I'm still relatively inexperienced with it due to rarely being able to remember what I dreamed. What methods do you use to help remember them?
