Biology and information technology are merging. We are already seeing dna code being rewritten via CRISPR. Microsoft already stored data in an organic cell. We see organic drives being experimented with. The list goes on.
Like all new technologies, the barrier is cost. Over time, it will come down which means mainstream adoption.

the post was my pleasure and I thank you for the comment. The direction of global events toward an apparent Apex is of high interest to me... Technology, economics, sociology, biology & physics...
I'm working on an audiobook along these lines of research... perhaps I'll post a couple of chapters once I have them drafted out and ready for public viewing.
