Organic Computing TechnologysteemCreated with Sketch.

While Quantum Computing seems to be all the rage of curiosity in the last 2 or 3 years I believe that it will be rapidly eclipsed by genetic DNA computation.

Already there are several teams internationally that are working on this idea and in the last couple of months there has been a big breakthrough.

Scientists have been able to produce a genetic strand geared specifically towards mathematical computation that increases it's computational capacity exponentially by spending the energy necessary to do mathematical computation. It increases in length "grows" until cell division produces new cells producing more DNA strands all doing the same thing. Each one of these strands of DNA can process massive amounts of data simultaneously. each new cell in the organic structure is working on the same problem simultaneously also with massive amounts of data capability simultaneously within each DNA strand, every cell working together on a single computation or multiple mathematical computations if that is what is desired.
The cellular structure is developed in an organic matter similar to algae where the computations can be electronically distributed to a video screen for viewing and Analysis also for input and output through standard computer equipment

This is only the beginning...

Organic computation can be quickly upscaled toward human implementation directly in the cerebral cortex.

Now I'm not a biologist and I'm not a computer specialist but I can see the near future potential of this scientific breakthrough.

Genetic computation doesn't have the limitations of quantum Computing. DNA computation can occur at room temperature instead of at extremes of absolute zero. The computational speed is equivalent if not greater than quantum computers will ever be.

By using DNA, “it’s plausible to have on your desktop more processors working than exist in the rest of the planet put together”, says Ross King, who studies machine intelligence at the University of Manchester University, UK, and who led the team that created the system exploring how DNA could form the basis of a non-deterministic "~universal Turing machine.~"

Keep your eyes on organic DNA Computing developments. I am absolutely certain that this is the direction of the next Revolution and computer development & Communications as well as the next revolution in biomedicine. The true breakthrough that'll be necessary for genuine artificial general intelligence (AGI)

... In conclusion... If you have your stock money riding on quantum computers and think you're going to make a fortune, I'm willing to bet $0.50 that you should just cool your jets...
In a couple of years when biogenetic computing becomes industrialized and there are few tickers on the stock market, that's where you want to put your money.
... I bet you

Fascinating concept. Thanks for sharing the article.

And I thank you for your reply to my post it is much appreciated

Biology and information technology are merging. We are already seeing dna code being rewritten via CRISPR. Microsoft already stored data in an organic cell. We see organic drives being experimented with. The list goes on.

Like all new technologies, the barrier is cost. Over time, it will come down which means mainstream adoption.

Thanks for posting something about futurism.

the post was my pleasure and I thank you for the comment. The direction of global events toward an apparent Apex is of high interest to me... Technology, economics, sociology, biology & physics...

I'm working on an audiobook along these lines of research... perhaps I'll post a couple of chapters once I have them drafted out and ready for public viewing.
At any rate I thank you very much for your your reply to my post
