Steemit is the new Bitcointalk now. The flippening has happened.

R.I.P Bitcointalk

In our short time on the blockchain we made some progress. Regardless to say anyone that is more than a couple of years on the space knows where the Blockchain news where used to take shape, all the trends the speculation the announcements was a Bitcointalk exclusive.

we are the bitcoin talk now..JPG

We didn't even exist back in 2013 not until May 2016 so the space was dominated by Bitcointalk. This is something that is changing with every bull and bear scratching their heads missing out of a way to control the way blockchain news will be distributed in the future. They thought steemit was a joke back then, denial is really bad for your investments.

Well not the case anymore, someone else is on the game of fintech news. Steemit is trending above Bitcointalk and had a break out during those bearish months.

Where we stand at? What can we hope for?

Our strongholds are Venesuala Myanmar and Nigeria for now. We are in big favor by the people that are suffering most of centralization of big data and money tactics. This is big plus for Steemit taking into account that those are the majority of people population in our planet. So for banking and informing the unbanked in the world we are getting to have a very big advantage in comparison with the rest of the competition in the space.

For your viewing pleasure here is the world pie if you add reddit in the equation too.
Capture 2 vs reddit.JPG

We are getting there slowly but steady, without Google ads or paid advertisements (yet) without any kind of twitter spams other than casual blogging and cyrclejerking, without any huge names supporting us (yet) with tears with flag wars with loses and profits but most important with mouth2mouth and peer2peer promotion.

So it is safe to accept that we are standing at a very good and solid ground, and that the possibilities for us from this point forward are basically endless. Of course we are nowhere near perfect yet not sure if that is something that we should really care though, Reddit is not perfect Youtube isn't perfect and I be damned if Facebook is anywhere near average. Hey at least we know what not to do and we will when we get bored of accumulating steem abusing steemit's bots I guess. Right guys? (I am not putting my self out of this kind of abuse as I do use those bots from times to times)

"An organic growth without @theymos like tactics and /r/bitcoin or /r/btc support (like bitcointalk had) through reddit. I think it is safe to assume that we are going to leave the bitcointalk era behind us and move on taking the biggest part of the crypto enthusiasts all over the world.
Food for thought and speculation."

This is not a financial advice, I do not give a second shit about prices and all that but you should do your own research when it comes down to investing your hard earned fiat papers.

Best Regards.

Does this data chart include busy.org or is it from Steem blockchain?

This is a trend comparison it compares just the Steemit brand name vs the Bitcointalk brand at google searches.
This data does not include neither of our top trending products like @dtube @busy @esteem or anything of the likes.
It would be unfair for Bitcointalk since they haven't funded create distribute wealth or innovate in general in the blockchain space.
Just an informative blog based probably to pump and dump profits out of its user base is my solely guess.

interesting analysis and I've noticed a lot more new members on steemit from Africa really giving it a go. In fact I posted about that and offered to have comments left and I will pick one person to upvote them for 1 week. Hopefully that will help them. I really want to hit critical mass before other platforms creep up behind us.

I wish you good luck with your goals. It is nice to see how the poorest of the poor are coming at steemit for a chance in life and get some tiny rewards back for participating in our little social economic experiment.

Thanks for stopping by man.

The constant scandals surrounding facebook, Google/Youtube and reddit will only serve to promote the adoption of steemit.

People are sick of ads and their privacy being in question.

Sneaky Ninja Attack! You have just been defended with a 4.24% upvote!
I was summoned by skapaneas. I have done their bidding and now I will vanish…
woosh

P.S. If you or anyone you know has been a victim of @grumpycat please know that he has been harming people throughout Sōsharumedia (ソーシャルメディア). Stealing the service that I (and other bots) have provided them and hiding behind a facade of stopping bid bot abuse which he clearly has no interest in.
Sneaky Ninja is a very responsible bot, working directly with steemcleaners, actively pursuing spam and abuse on our platform. If you would like to see what steps Sneaky Ninja has taken to fight bid bot abuse see this post and this post. Also know that I am working daily on other solutions.
If you would like to know my personal take on bid bot abuse and why I do not agree with the 3.5 day rule, see this post
