The everyday struggle of Life- "More Choice Or Less Choice?"
Hello Wonderful People!
How is your day going?
Life is full of choices. And everything depends on what we choose for us; from our partner to our everyday meal. In this consumeristic world, it's really very difficult to decide what would be best for us from thousands of options.
I've got a very define choice in this regard, I mean choosing anything in my life. "I prefer to explore but try to make it minimum."

Let me explain!
I don't really like to spend a huge amount of time choosing everyday products like soaps or kitchen items. I feel lost sometimes in the super shops by seeing all those amounts of items. I usually buy the same products over and over again. I even have an 'automatic list' on my online shopping site to not expend 'too much' time choosing groceries and daily life products.
But when it comes to something which gonna affect my life directly like my clothing, toys or books for my son, 'healthy lifestyle products' and something like this; I prefer to expend some more time to choose them. I prefer to compare and choose the better option.
I always set a bar on choosing things. Like 'price' bar, 'time' bar ie. I believe we can avoid any uncertain things if we put those bars in our minds. Those bars helps us to make the right decision easily.
More options may seem 'more opportunity' but it can cause 'destruction' as well if we don't have enough control over ourselves
I sometimes feel that maybe I'm missing something coz I don't always discover or dig out for 'more options' but later I understand not making me overwhelmed by all different options is more important for me. Putting some more efforts to find better option is okay, but it should not make us more destructive. Sometimes or so many times it happens that we end up choosing the same option. So the 'time we put on searching on thousand options are just a waste.'
For, me putting ourselves in a boundary is not always necessary. We should explore and it will bring more opportunity, more diversity and we may find more useful, interesting, handy things this way. But we should practice to not get destructed easily. I mean we should not give the power button to some 'products' to control us. I always go with 'less option' and usually choose the same products. It gives me more comfort and it helps me to focus on other things of life.

If there's something I really hate about shopping, it's going to be making choices...why can't I just say "give me this" and have the problem solved? :P
Although I will still prefer more choices if I have the time for them...decision making is indeed a complicated thing. At this moment, too. Heh.
Exactly... Why spend more time on choosing. There's always door open to balance everything. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I am with you when come to buying the same brand over and over again. To save time. Haha.
I prefer less choice. And when come to online buying stuff, I got lost and it took me wayyyyy longer to just buy one item. So purchasing online is my weak point.
I was like these earlier but now I practice to manage myself from all those eye catchy stuffs.

I like your way of thinking, to put a bar on making choices. I prefer to remain more focused and don' want all the distractions pulling me away from my focused intent. Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear that you like it. Yeah, I try to balance in between.

Yea less choice for sure! I've seen a bunch of good studies were people usually choose the familiar choice. Whether it's toothpaste, where to sit, routes to take... etc. But it is always fun to explore sometimes!
Yeah, we have to practice to balance. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
