Today on "That Awkward Moments", i want to share another true life story in a fictional way. One of the many things that humans go through in our quest for happiness, sadly many don't find that thing which they want so bad because not everything we desire; we get. "SILVER DIGGER"

As a man, the responsibility to provide for one's family is a huge task; that is why the woman supports the man in every good home. Even though in some marriages the woman bears all the responsibilities which to me is a bit bad except in some controversial conditions in which the man/husband/father could not help it. But generally, Guys/Men/Husbands/Fathers bears all the burden down to a boy/girl affair; the guys assumes the role of providing it all, which had given ladies the opportunity to take advantage of their men.

Though all fingers ain't equal, some guys are more wealthier than others which created a fundamental problem; Female/Women/Ladies/Girls all wants the richer ones hence they often ditch the poorer ones. Only a few women posses the ability to resist and stay by their partners, this are the rare gems; if a man find any of this special ones, he is the luckiest man ever liveth!

There was this pretty young lady; Cassy(Fictional Name) and in her early 20s, tall, slim and curvy with a very charming look. She got a Graduate Internship Job in an IT firm where there was a guy who fell for her beauty the first instance they met. Jude(Fictional Name) never hesitated to ask her out and usually for proximity reasons she likes Jude fondly too but there was this stalling move from ladies whenever they are unsure or confused to pick their choice of a guy from the multiple options on their radar.

Weeks turned into Months and still there was no positive response from the young pretty Cassy, but she has been taking advantage of Jude; He is the first one she calls whenever she gets stranded, Jude to the rescue on any of her failed dates, Jude paying for several of her bills(Data, Bus tickets, Meal Tickets at work etc,), taking responsibilities for her daily living after been placed on a limbo for long.

Each day goes by super-fast without Jude been worried and each time he tries to Talk to her, Cassy always becomes evasive in any discussions about their relationship status. He pestered so hard to know what was wrong only for Cassy to to come up with excuses and all, stating the age difference is too wide and same office affair bullshit among other reasons she was considering.

Seven Months down the line, after several times of been taken advantage of, Cassy told Jude suddenly at the close of Business one day that she now has a boyfriend. Jude was "sour sad" because according to the her she had presumably met the new boyfriend before starting to work in the same IT firm with Jude. "A white lie", as Jude who lost his composure for some days considered it before getting over the incident. Sadly, few weeks down the line Cassy's friend who works in a 5-star Hotel jammed Jude at a party and out of their discussion, It was Cassy's friend who introduced a very rich man from another country to Cassy who lodged in the Hotel just few weeks back. "It is understandable why she lied to him because the new boy friend owns a home in England and Holland"; Jude thought to himself.

At Christmas, in the company's end of the year retreat, Jude confronted Cassy why she stalled for so long and lied to him, then came up with a story out of the blue about the new Boyfriend. The new Boyfriend who happens to be just a year older than Jude(While Cassy insisted Jude was too Old for her) . So why would she use age difference as an excuse not to be with him? All she could said was; "it all happened so fast" so everyone moved on.

Few months into the New Year, Cassy and her new Boyfriend(man friend) went on a vacation in the Caribbean, that was where the whole truth came out of the Bag!. Cassy accidentally picked her new boyfriend's wallet on the floor of their hotel room while he was in the shower and browsed through it-
only to find his British Driver's license which states age "42" and a photo showing two lovely kids in the wallet flap.

Cassy went numb, what she found out means the man is actually old enough to be her Father, and he is a family man; with his wife and kids in the Netherlands!!!
