The domestication of humanity

We think we are free. We think of ourselves as a civilised and intelligent race which is all too often displayed as superior to other lifeforms. Human arrogance is like no other and yet, we are nothing more than domesticated animals. A cat raised in captivity will never learn how to hunt mice, it will appreciate the hand that opens its food cans, but it will continue to stare out of the window, yearning to explore the outdoors. It's its most basic instinct. Some of us have forgotten about their instincts, they become suppressed when we grow up and learn how to ‘behave’.

The human domestication process has begun hundreds of years ago when christianity was forced on pagans and what was natural suddenly became demonised. Worshipping trees was considered a luciferian act, so instead we decided to chop them down and build concrete jungles where once there was wilderness. Nowadays we worship wi-fi and fast food. We worship all that has a negative effect on our mental and physical health, because it's being sold to us with sweet words and wrapped in glitter packaging, yet we wonder why we are not happy. Institutions like the church have been working hard since the medieval ages to tighten the chains, to restrict and eliminate the wild nature of humanity. Our western culture is responsible for the genocide of countless of indigenous tribes, who used to live wild and in tune with our planet. Their lives were determined by wisdom and respect, for eachother, for other life and the earth itself. They were hunted down, because they resisted domestication. There are tribes in the Amazon who used to live happy and free for generations, until merciless missionaries came and exploited them, then introduced them to money to make them dependent on a system that benefits a handful of self-proclaimed powerful men. There is hardly a place left on Earth that hasn’t been tampered with by greedy hands - the very hands that open our food cans.

Whether we like to admit it or not, we are utterly dependent. Without a house and money to buy food, very few of us would survive. We are so detached from nature and as a result of this from ourselves, that we make irrational, unnatural decisions on a daily basis. Somewhere along the way we ended up in a distortion, a matrix-like network of insane values, thoughts and ideals. I believe that most of what is wrong with the world is a result of this detachment. If we were more in tune with nature and our spiritual selves, we would quickly wake up to a more peaceful, happy way of life.

We might think we’re intelligent, but if we were really that smart, wouldn’t we notice what has been done to us, wouldn’t we stand up and do something about it? We were all born in captivity, so how can we miss the world outside of our cages if we have never witnessed it? The 9 to 5 grind is just normal, it’s all we know and the illusion of safety within this cage is way too tempting. But there are those moments, when you’re standing on top of a mountain or swimming in a lake, even just taking a stroll in the park, there’s this voice inside of you and it whispers, screams and shouts and it makes your heart jump with joy. Your soul knows your true nature, even if your brain forgot. So put down your phones, stop staring at screens, stop feeding yourself the propaganda that tells you how cruel and dangerous the world outside of your cage is and explore it for yourself. You will quickly see that outside of our ‘civilised’ system, there is no good and bad - all there is is the essence of life and the only thing to be afraid of is the darkness of human ego.

‘All humans are essentially wild creatures and hate confinement. We need what is wild, and we thrill to it, our wildness bubbling over with an anarchic joie de vivre. We glint when the wild light shines. The more suffocatingly enclosed we are - tamed by television, controlled by mortgages and bureaucracy - the louder our wild genes scream in aggression, anger and depression.’

Hi @nomadrituals,
I thought I was alone for years
A few weeks ago I even started to question my perspective and weather something was wrong with the way I see the world

After reading your article I’m assured that there is at least one person in the world that would take part in challenging the the systematic process of human self domestication.
I’m in the process of writing an article called
“Humanity’s darkest secret hidden in plane sight “

Im blessed with the ability to avoid a few of the perils of this dastardly system.

But I’m starting to think about a remedy as I believe it is imperative for our survival.
As will be elaborated in my article.
Do you have Any suggestions?

Hi @techpuffin!
I'm so sorry, I only just saw your reply on this article! You are definitely not alone, but I see why it would seem this way - those who are aware of what's going on at large tend to keep quiet for fear of being ridiculed by those who are 'asleep', I guess?! I've been through the 'questioning myself' process, too, but the evidence is just too obvious! I am going to read your article right now and leave a comment!
