How I DE-STRESS! @HEALTHSQUARED - Steemit Weekly Health Challenge Week #3.

This is my entry for the Steemit Weekly Health Challenge Week #3 which is created by the awesome @healthsquared and sponsored by the beautiful and amazing @sweetsssj.

This weeks challenge is sharing HOW I DE-STRESS which I think is a very important topic that needs way more attention, since most sicknesses, diseases and all kinds of health problems start with stress, and majority people in this world are just way too stressed out and by sharing ideas and tips of how we de-stress our own lives can also help other people de-stress their lives.

There are so many ways to help me de-stress my life and I don't really know which one is really the best one since I feel like I need all of them in my daily life.


#1 DE-STRESSOR IN MY LIFE

I always start my day with listening to either Joye Meyer or Joel Osteen (Christian Speakers) every morning which starts my day off on the right, positive and very inspiring track. Even when I wake up in the bad mood or worried etc. listening to the word of God really helps me to have peace and inspires me to do good and to love and to help and really see what is important in my life and it really prepares me for my stress-free day.
It gives me the strength and peace I need for that day and my daily life, it reminds me that God is always with me and I don't need to worry or be scared because He controls it all.

I also pray to God and spend time with God, praying and just talking to Him through out the day. No, I'm not crazy, but I truly believe that knowing the Word of God and studying the Word of God really has changed and saved my life from all kinds of things but especially depression. I've seen God do amazing things in my life and He is my only hope and the more I've been studying the word of God and understading more about Him, I've seen more peace, joy, happiness, and serving others instead of just thinking about me and my needs.

I could go on forever about how amazing the word of God has been in my life and how grateful I am for all that He has done in my life and I not only just live day by day, but I have big dreams, and hopes and I'm excited about my life and my families life.

#2 DE-STRESSOR IN MY LIFE


All I really have to say is, NATURE. I have seen how the lack of being around nature especially during the winter months contributes to unhealthy, unhappy, lazy, stressed, depressed me.
I have always, always loved nature and loved being surrounded by nature because it is so beautiful and so peaceful and it really, really relaxes me. It makes me forget about the worries and stress just by simply smelling the flowers and feeling the sun or the wind on your body or hearing the birds sing and seeing everything so bright and green or beautiful colorful flowers or seeing everything being alive, it really gives you the energy, the life and the peace of mind.


I always try to go for a daily walk or run and/or just sitting, relaxing and enjoying the nature because it really gives me the energy, and it really gives me peace of mind and calmness and I feel like this is the place where I can do some deep thinking.
I feel so much more productive throughout the day when I do that, and I can really feel the difference when I don't.

This picture was taken in El Salvador where we with our family went to a cave and brought some food and enjoyed an amazing picnic in this beautiful jungle look like nature.

This is I, @joalvarez on our beach in El Salvador, 2011. The beach is probably one of my absolute most peaceful, relaxing, de-stressor places in the world. I love it. You can even scream as loud as you want to relieve some stress because no one can hear you because of the ocean breeze.

I have never seen my boys have so much fun, or be so free and so relaxed as on the beach. Even they forget about all the regular things in life when they spend time on the beach.



#3 DE-STRESSOR IN MY LIFE


EXERCISE. I have always been very active since I was a very young girl. I love how it makes me feel. Exercise is definitely very, very important in my life as a de-stresser and that is why I try to do exercise reguraly.

The best de-stressor exercise for me is definitely boxing and kickboxing, since you can definitely relief some serious stress and madness out of your body and mind.
Just think of your boss as the punching bag. lol. Just kidding. But it really does help and at the end of the workout you really feel much better.


By doing physical activity it pumps up your endorphins which really is a production of the brain's feel-good neurotransmitters.

Doing exercise regularly can relax you, can lower the symptoms of mild depression, anxiety, provides a better sleep, ease your stress levels and it increases self-confidence.

So these are my 3 de-stress things I try to practice regularly because I take those things really seriously, since I can really feel the difference when I don't apply these three things into my regular routine and I hope you enjoyed it and can't wait to hear from you about how you de-stress your life.

I know, I think this is a pretty cool challenge and it is great to read what other people practice to de-stress their lives.

This post is very motivating, but i think I can only do 1 & 2 de-stressor, it is really hard for me to do exercise 😅😅😅.... I think I just need to have the courage...

2 our of three sounds really good. I didn't have to share 3 ways, since most people share just one, but these are all very important to me, so I thought I'll share 3 ways.

Thank you @bloghound. It doesn't have to be heavy or hard exercise, but even walking or riding a bike , just being active is very important and it really is good for your overall health.
