Boy this guy needs no introduction! He's the richest man in Asia & 14th richest man in the world.Ladies and gentlemen today I'm writing about the rags to riches story of Jack Ma .

Jack was born in 10th of September, 1964 at Hangzhou city located in the Zhejiang Province of China.

Since a really young age he was very keen on gathering knowledge about English and tried his best to communicate better in the language.

Practiced English daily by conversing with English-speakers at Hangzhou hotel which was 40 minute bike ride from his home.He also started guiding tourists in sight-seeing places around the city. The motive was to spend more time with native English speakers so he could gain a command over the language.

He later told what the tourist's taught him was very much different from what he learnt from his family or chinese culture.This helped him think outside the box when he grew up.

Jack was not a very bright student.

Finally!

Graduated in 1988 with a B.A. in English from Hangzhou Normal University

After graduation he started to look for job.But he got rejected for 30 jobs!

He go rejected at the police.Only five people applied for the job,four got accepted but he didn't get the job.

When KFC came to china 24 people applied for the job and he was the only was rejected!!

After getting rejected from KFC he thought to himself maybe god has other plans for me.Maybe I should start my own business.In 1999 he founded Alibaba and rest is history.

We all know about Amazon,Ebay and lots of other sites but very few of us are familiar with Alibaba.

Alibaba is the world's largest retailer surpassing Walmart with operations in over 200 countries!

Though it's world's biggest e-commerce company it's main job is not to do e-commerce but help small business entrepreneurs to enter e-commerce market.So basically it's an e-commerce enabler.

It provides B2B,B2C & C2C sales service via web portals.

Get Used to rejection:

Jack Ma's early life is full of rejection.He also applied for Harvard 10 times and was rejected everytime.These rejections helped him to mold into a more polished man later.

Focus on Culture:

Jack ma always says if you want to succeed in business you need to solve a social problem.The bigger social problem you solve the bigger the profit of your business.

Customers are always #1:

Customers are lifeblood of business.If your customers are with you only then you'll make profit otherwise you'll go bankrupt.

Don't complain,look for opportunities:

Jack Ma says in difficult situation those people who always complain and whine never succeed.But people who see the difficulty as an opportunity for finding solutions only they become successful.

Change yourself:

When jack ma first stated Alibaba he didn't know anything about computer or running a business.But he worked hard to change himself for the better.

Get inspired:

When Jack Ma feels depressed he likes to watch movies.His favorite movie is Forrest Gump Because in the movie Forrest never gives up!And like Forrest Jack's life is full of ups & downs.
