Life Series #1: The Tale of the Foolish Goats
One sunny afternoon, two goats met in the middle of a little narrow wooden bridge. The bridge was so narrow that only one goat could go through at a time. However, none of the two goats was wiling to go back to the end of the bridge so that the other could easily go through.

"I am the fattest goat in town," bragged the fatter goat, "make way for me. I am in haste."
"Never," replied the other goat. "I am older than you and deserve some respect. Can't you see my beards?"
The argument went on for several hours and, yet, none of the goats was willing to make a compromise. So, a fight broke out.
The two goats locked their horn violently and shoved each other until the fragile frame of the bridge gave way. They both fell into the river beneath and got drowned.
Moral Lesson
Life is all about making compromises. Sometimes in life, compromises do not mean weakness; it shows maturity, courage, and wisdom. The two goats in my story would have safely arrived their destinations if either of them had agreed to compromise.

What a great story! Learnt a lesson of life...
This is a lesson that many of our leaders should learn. Be they business leaders or education leaders or political leaders, our society would benefit greatly if they all learned this.
At the same time, the place to start is at home, among family, and with friends.
Just as you have rightly said, compromises should begin with the family, friends, and the government. I have personally had instances where compromises saved my life.

Lovely write up
At times we have to compromise for peace and to achieve success. Our opinion isn't always right we have to give others a chance. Life is all about doing what matters even though it might not feel right to us
