Video games make us monsters?

Of all the most stupid witch-hunts and the burning of ritual stuffed animals that exist in the modern world, the most striking thing is the struggle with video games.

I don’t know exactly how things are in America in recent years, but in Russia believe video games cause of violence in adolescents.

In my opinion, this is nonsense. To say that video games make teenagers cruel is equivalent to the fact that books about pirates make teenagers future killers and criminals.

Retro games

Always those people who like to sit quietly and calmly at home, indulge in stories about people who did not sit at home, adventures attracted them.
In this regard, literature is no different from cinema, and cinema is no different from games. While you are sitting on your sofa, in a book / on the screen, someone runs, fights and jumps over the abyss.

Moreover, unlike books and films, games reassure much more, since the degree of immersion in this process is much higher.
Now the games are very complex and multifaceted: you focus immediately on many different tasks, forget about the problems in reality and as a result you get the long-awaited peace.

Games are virtual reality, artificial intelligence, sometimes it is an economy with psychology. At a minimum, it's beautiful.

This beauty and pacification is very necessary for modern humanity, in which heart disease is one of the most common causes of death. And yes, I do not urge to forget about my real life and go headlong into video games, not at all.
But video games really help relieve the stress that we get during the day.

I don’t know why they don’t talk seriously enough about it, but blaming games for various social problems is a very silly thing to do.
