Specific Ways You Can ADD Value to Yourself in ALL Situations and Environments
On my previous post Why Bringing Value to Yourself and the World is So Important, we discussed why adding value is so influential to yourself and situations. Now I will give you specific ways you can add value in any environment or situation. Each one will give you more importance in the eyes of the world around you.
Add value to yourself
Apply these everywhere
Take assertiveness by doing what you should do (Take action, don't be sorry, know who you are, be a leader and own it)
Help strangers (Open doors, assist whenever your in area to do so, go out your way to talk, listen and help)
Give to people in non material ways (Sincere compliments, listen and respond accordingly, physical help)
Have confidence and a high self esteem
Do the right thing (Take action when you should do so)
Have great social skills (Clear tone, eye contact, listen, good posture)
Show vulnerability (This shows you are human and being real. Gives trust with you as it shows you have nothing to hide)
Go the extra mile (Do things without being told to, without wanting anything in return)
Have high energy! (This is a state of happiness and puts others in the same state)
Involve everyone in conversation (Include important on everyone with eye contact and asking questions)
Be upfront and honest (Be authentic, yourself, straight up, don't beat around the bush as people notice)
Make people feel good (Feel good and be positive yourself. This will brush off onto them and they will feel great in no time)
Know your stuff (When giving your opinion, especially in business, know what your talking about or say you do not know)
In business have great etiquette, be professional, get the job done, do extra and go one step further then what you should do
Handle mistakes and failures in a positive way (Find the upside, try something new, be your own best friend)
Building up value is important to thrive in all environments.
By having or bringing more value to yourself, you will bring more value to the environment and situations around you. (Works vice versa also) Let this sink in as it is so beneficial to our world.
