The Life & Times of Barry Dutton E2: A pictorial view of a large ICI / Industrial Building I sold for an International Client (2014)
I do not share much of my personal life for lots of reasons. Some of which I have discussed here and there on Steemit with some of you, usually the ones I interact with the most. I share some candid shots today that someone in my office took when I listed and sold this 15 000 sq. foot building the next city over to me.
Today I had a Fascistbook memory pop up and some people have been asking me to open up and share a bit more about my life, which is just hard for me to do for privacy reasons at times and other times, just emotional ones with things I have been through many just don't care about anyways.
I have not posted many photos of myself or things I do or have been involved in but I know I like learning and seeing more about people myself, have heard others like it.... so for the people that do not mind or want to see... here is a bit of an inside look at things in my life.

Very cool Barry. You look like a detective to me. Congratulations for selling that building.
One of the reasons I do not talk much about my life is I have stalkers.
A couple of them went on and on and on in social media lying about me and harassing me for now 4 years.........
They said of course I would never sell the building but this solid conditional in record time, for the market and in winter.
I had the building under contract with my patented Advance Marketing System within a few hours of it going on MLS, (in the US, they call it the escrow period)
I think these stalkers of yours are just envious of your achievements and what you are capable of doing. Keep up the good work. I'm sure God will always be there to watch over you. Well done, congratulations again.

I've been at it so long, you just get used to it and have mechanisms like any other person to deal with things I guess.
I used to be able to go to the gym every day which helped but you know what I am dealing with now, so can't anytime soon.

Well I like learning about you :) I have a question, do you use steemvoter by any chance? Can you believe I'm here four months and I'm just now learning about it, haha! I'm thinking it might be a good thing for me, I'll still come and comment, but this way I don't miss out on voting during the appropriate time period and then I comment without feeling like "shit, it's past it's earning potential".
I don't use steemvoter. Last fall they were involved in a vote taking scandal of sorts, it was a BIG deal here for I think a few weeks......
I am involved in a community bot project run by @fyrstikken where my voting power is used at 1% to mass vote nearly every post that comes out to spread the wealth around, and since I cannot be online all the time due to some of my health issues, it works out well but upsets a lot of people.
I get that but some people are just kinda mean and bitter and don't actually care about the well being of others as we know.
So, if you see my votes on your posts, for 1%, don't be upset there are reasons for it, some of which are explained here.

DUDE!! Residential sales are one thing, but closing on a commercial property that size takes some skills. I was only involved in one commercial deal in all my years in the biz and it was on the fringes. That sucker couldn't close fast enough for my taste. Funny thing was, it wasn't the actual property that was issue. It was navigating all the egos through a six million dollar agreement. Gah! You have my admiration for jumping in and taking it through the whole process. I do hope you had a fitting celebration after the closing!
For those outside the real estate biz, to give you and idea of what an accomplishment this is - imagine the difference between a VW Bug and an 18-wheeler. They both will get you down the road, but have vastly different rules along the way. Think you could get a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)? Barry has the chops for the CDL. I spent 20 years in the biz and will stick with the Bug.

I pulled this deal off the resuscitator one night after midnight, with a lot of emails to all the parties, the other agents, their clients, and also 3-4 Conference calls with my clients both in different parts of the world at the time.
Negotiation takes many forms.
Pizza was had after this file, a couple of times LOL....We shall cover that another day!

Totally understand the privacy issues. We used to (half) joke about the RESPA police raiding the office if we were out of compliance on something. Am so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. Now it's just making sure I don't put my client's address on their key tag. Much simpler.
Oh, and I hope it was at least a deluxe pizza and they used the primo pepperoni.
