Inhabitants of the Earth
Some time ago, Joseph was a beautiful boy of five vivacious years. One night before going to sleep, his dad sits on his bed to talk. Jose did not seem sleepy. Suddenly, he asks his dad: "Dad, how many inhabitants does the Earth have?" Dad is surprised by the question, and since he did not know the data, he replies that he does not know.
After leaving him asleep, dad tells Mom the curious question of the duck. Dad thought that for a chiris that barely counted to ten, the data was not going to make sense. Mom takes it seriously, and recommends dad find the answer to satisfy the child's curiosity. Back then, it was not as easy as now that you only have to go to Google.
Two days later, Dad brought the answer: 3,000 million inhabitants.
José Joaquín listened without flinching and answered seriously:
- Those are the living, and the dead?
