Leo Trading - Mistake - Pal - Skills - 28/643

in #leo5 years ago

I've begun trading Leo again.

I think I overestimated Leo's "weakness"

Pal tanked. It has support at .045. I think it will easily hit .03 or lower in the next few weeks if not days. Perhaps I will try and buy some at .01? I currently have a very small amount of Pal left to unstake.

I'm impressed with how well I nailed my analysis of the Pal market since I realized I was wrong about it having any real strength.

9-12 - https://www.palnet.io/steem/@mysearchisover/is-steem-worthless-priceless-steemityourway-pal-going-down-leo-ccc-1308-11-614

Leo was at .0911 bid /.1198 ask then.

About a month later it is now at about .18/.23

Pretty damn good month. lol

Hopefully the stupid @mack-bot doesn't downvote my post again today. I'm not as good at ignoring #abuse as most other Steemians are and I think I do have some #skills. ;) I've been playing pretty nice but I "might" start to get more militant. #rebel

That stinks that you have a hater. Keep up the good posts. I'm sticking with the fab 5 crypto's. Focusing more on money management on trades as I tend to go all in and have no ammo for big drops.

You might want to consider buying some Leo or at least converting some of your Steem into it.

Probably should but I've gone with the mindset of took a big hit on steem investment so let it ride. I saw a video on how Steemit has gotten costs much more in control and now back towards focusing on their future enhancements. I'm back on cheering them on. So much potential with this blockchain still.

They still seemed to be focused on user reduction. It's free to convert Steem to Leo. Steemleo.com posts still show on Steemit.com.

You could, I dunno, maybe stop buying votes. Ditch the martyrdom complex, dude. People have clearly said why they are downvoting your content. Pretending it's "haters" and "trolls" doesn't really support your case.

Bid bot bause @steemflagrewards

I am not committing abuse or theft. You are choosing to buy votes, and I am choosing to downvoting content where authors buy votes. You are actively and frequently participating in reward pool distortion. Why do you believe this is justified?

We are both on the STEEM blockchain. Steemit is one portal to use it. I do not understand how your query is relevant to the matter at hand.

Your post was rather incoherent, and your reply here is as well.

Do you downvote every single person that buys votes? Do you downvote any of the investors or simply reduce help reduce their income while you do your reward pool distortion.

If you think using bidbots should be illegal you can contact [email protected]
https://steemit.com/tos.html

Godaddy.com hosts steemit.com. I have contacted them.

I have contacted them.

What do you need clarification on?

Of course I don't downvote everyone. I am only one person with limited vote power. That is irrelevant to the discussion of your actions here.

I don't favor centrally-dictated mandates or prohibitions. I favor decentralized action in response to major issues. SFR, Steemcleaners, etc. all work to establish standards of behavior from the ground up.

Your complaints are frivolous and your intent to deplatform Steemit by contacting the host is malicious. You are doing a terible job of persuading honest observers that you are in the right here, even if you somehow were.

I think if the bot runners determine that vote buying should be illegal they should target everyone.

Steemit seems pretty centralized right now especially with OCD "helping" to run the show and people like you backing up their centralized impact.

SFR is built on manual curation, not a bot net. Our solution to vote-buying is to remove the reward for buying votes, and thus remove the incentive to buy votes. If you don't want downvotes from me, the only thing you need to do is stop buying votes. It's not a personal vendetta, it's an objection to your consistent and persistent pattern of abusive behavior to exploit the reward pool.

I am not affiliated with OCD. I can't speak for bots. However, in my observation, there are many people acting on various criteria both manually and with bots to address problems on the chain. If you are feeling persecuted, perhaps you have drawn their attention by behaving in a manner that is widely perceived as disruptive and abusive.

Maybe the problem is you. Maybe your behavior needs to change. Maybe you are in the wrong.

Your balance is below $0.3. Your account is running low and should be replenished. You have roughly 10 more @dustsweeper votes. Check out the Dustsweeper FAQ here: https://steemit.com/dustsweeper/@dustsweeper/dustsweeper-faq

Do you downvote every single person that buys votes?

Do you buy a vote on EVERY comment that you make. There is no legal or illegal; you can do what you like.

It's bad practice, and not liked by the community.

Do you play golf? If so would you drag your cart on to the green?

Do you see the similarities. You can also make divots on the greens by smashing your clubs on to it but don't expect everyone to not do anything.

What is that old saying about trying the same thing and getting the same result?...One just has to go look at the steem bot tracker site to know most have called it quits, it's not a personal thing it's just the reality of it. You should consider just hanging it up and moving on, I don't think they are playing around about not using bots.

Most Steemit.com users have also called it quits. Regardless I don't think it's right to steal from people like me and investors. Perhaps I can let people like me and investors know about Steemleo.com.

The thing is though is that whatever is posted on those other front ends automatically ends up on Steemit, without any separation of the two that way it doesn't matter you post on Steemleo you are still going to get hit when you use the bots. None of us like the changes except for them getting the big time abusers of bots under control, to bad it came at a huge expense to the lower tier. In all due honesty though do you think it was okay for you to post something off of utube with a couple sentences attached then bot it up between ten to twenty bucks?...a lot of people who got caught doing that on the lower tier got whacked for that only because it was within the ability of some to whack them, it took considerable power to go after the big time offenders. (again, at considerable loss to the lower tier people though). On here you have to make a decision, you risk being caught or you don't risk being caught, while choosing to not put yourself at risk comes with watching those who chose to and the disparaging feeling that playing by the rules doesn't pay. In the end it came down to being even more disparaged that it cost those playing by the rules the most, that should have never been the case.

I think the whole thing could have been handled differently myself, someone said it was as simple as changing the algorithms...but I imagine those changes wouldn't have allowed a path to keep cheating in other ways.

I think they could end delegations if they want to censor how people use their Steem. Seems pretty unfair to me. I'm losing out on some Steem but the investors are really losing out.
