The Best Gaming Laptops Under $1000 For 2018 - Dell Inspiron 15 vs ASUS TAL FX504
I recently got a chance to review some great laptops, and after searching a lot (like A LOT!) and comparing hundreds of different laptops, I shortlisted the best gaming laptops. After that, I ordered them according to their prices and asked around people and customers, looked at their reviews on various websites and finally made an even more compact list. From that list, I will keep bringing the best laptops. (Note: These are for the US Markets. I'll also be reviewing the UK market. For other countries, I'll need more data before I can review and rank)
So first, I wanted to review 2 gaming laptops that are under $1000 and are really really good. In fact, I think I can guarantee that they give the best bang for the buck, especially in terms of specs.
The ASUS gaming laptop for $699
One laptop is the thin and light ASUS FX504, the 8th Generation Hexacore i5 (yes, 8 cores!) with a 2gb Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card, 8gb DDR4 ram and a whopping 1 TB SSHD Hard disk (solid state hybrid drive), which is almost twice as fast as a normal 7200 RPM hard drive! It retails for $699 on Amazon.
Dell Inspiron 15, 8th Gen
The other one is the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series, with a Quad Core i7, 512GB SSD drive (the biggest SSD in this price range. SSD drives are very durable and super fast, even faster than SSHD drives as there are no moving parts). It comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM (8GB more than the ASUS) and a 4GB Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card! It retails for almost $980 on Amazon US.
Both the laptops have backlit keyboards, are under 6 lbs (the ASUS is much thinner and lighter, almost touching 5 lbs) and have nice and big keyboards with NUMPAD for easy typing and data entry. They both can play almost any game under the sky and are perfect for everyday use.
