보현보살 권발품

내가 저 보위덕 상왕(寶威德上王)부처님 국토에서

멀리 이 사바 세계에서 법화경 설하신다 힘을 듣고

무량무변 백천 만억 모든 보살대중과 더불어 한가지로

와서 듣고자 하오니,

오직 원컨대 세존은 마땅히 저희들을 위하여 설해주소서

만약 선남자 선여인이 저 여래 멸도후에 어찌하여 능히

이 법화경을 얻으리잇고.

I, Bodhidharma King, in the land of the Buddha

Far away in this world of Sava, I hear the power of the Dharma Flower Sutra.

come and listen,

I only ask that you speak for us.
