마음공부의 장애

자신의 마음 안에 미묘하게 숨어 있는 아만을 발견할 줄 알아야 한다. 그렇게 하는 것이 정직한 마음이며 슬기로운 마음인 것이니 마음을 닦으면 닦을수록 자기라는 껍질이 하나하나 벗겨져 모든 사람, 모든 생명과의 벽이 사라지게 된다.
< 일체를 평등하게 보는 마음은 결코 아만에 빠져들지 않는다. 그런 마음은 점점 넓어져 가는 길 위에 있는 것이다.>

Obstacles to Mindfulness Study

You should be able to recognize the subtle atman that lurks within your own mind. To do so is an honest mind and a wise mind, and the more you cultivate it, the more the shells of ego are peeled away, one by one, and the barriers to all people and all living beings disappear.
< A mind that sees all things as equal never falls into arrogance. Such a mind is on the path of ever-expanding realization.
