In addition to the trees and fruits that have many benefits, maple leaves are also used as a symbol of the Canadian state!
Maple leaves began to be used as a symbol of Canada starting in 1700 as a symbol of nature and the environment that occurred in Canada. Trees as well as maples have been officially declared a Canadian national tree on April 25, 1996.
In 1965, Canada used a maple leaf flag as its official flag replacing the British Flag, also known as the "Union Jack". Images of maple leaves used in the flag were designed by Jacques Saint-Cyr.

Aside from being syrup, the maple tree part can also be used.
Japanese society with creative processing of these leaves into tempura and snacks is quite popular in Japanese society. 😨😨
