And this is my entry to this week's contest, whose theme is boats... the Sun Voyager!

Yes, not technically a boat, but the representation of one! It is a sculpture called the Sun Voyager, and is located in Reykjavik, Iceland. It was made by Jón Gunnar Arnason, and it is the artist's interpretation of a dreamboat. On the back, lies Mount Esja. Covered in snow, since the photos were taken in all the beauty of Icelandic winter, around 5 years ago.

    Beautiful photos @pardinus!
    Very nice to see the Sun voyager and
    such a wonderful setting! I like the
    shadow that is being cast also.
    Soft blues and greys are awesome!
    My ancestors would know the
    navigational forks well 🔱 :-)
