So hot, let's go to the beach! 夏に海へ！[En/Jp]
It's mid August! I want to go to the beach :)
Instead I am curious to try something else and make my characters go to the beach together. How would they interact? What can you tell about the dynamic between them? What shoes do people wear at the beach? How do I yunk up the accidental two right feet of the girl in the hat (check out the full size uncoloured inked drawing ><;. All very important questions :D
暑い〜海へ行きたいです！
行けないので、代わりにこの子たちを行かせようと思いました。四人だから、いろんな表現ができるので、とても面白かったです。例えば、表情や仕草で彼女らの気持ち、関係など表現ができます。ストーリがどんどん膨らんでいきます。 服装や髪型、靴。。。特に靴に ついていっぱい悩みました ^^。ペン入れの時に緊張して、帽子を被っている子に右足二回描いてしまい、どう直そうか結構悩んでいました >_<;。悩みの多いイラストです

Still unfinished, but I already want to repaint the background T-T; 試しに 背景も塗って見たのですが、下手すぎて、すでに描き直したいです
★Materials used:
- Mechanical pencil
- Light pad to trace the initial sketch onto the watercolour paper.
- G pen and Maru pen
- Pilot ink
- Watercolour paper
- W&N Cottman watercolours, Russian White Nights watercolours
トレース台を使って、水彩紙にスケッチを移してから、
立川Gペンと丸ペンでペン入れ、製図用インクを使用します。ロシア産とイギリス産の水彩絵の具 を使用しています。

My country, the Philippines, is known for its wonderful beaches... I love going to the beach with my family and friends. (although I don't know how to swim... lol)
I especially like staying by the beach at night... it's the perfect spot for stargazing. <3
wow! were you able to see the perseides meteor shower during the weekend? it was cloudy here, so I could barely see any stars :)
I didn't hear abot it, but we had a rainy weekend though... xD

thanks @karencarrens :D I was busy with this one, four people all wearing shoes takes a lot more time to draw...especially shoes, my kryptonite!
That's funny! I would think that toes would be harder to draw than shoes!
Toes are surprisingly easy :) shoes have all these designs and perspective etc to be carefull about. People should really consider wearing only socks to make an illustrators life easier :D
