Libertà creative:

Ciao a tutti!
Oggi condivido un acquarello con il tema marino a cui sono molto legato.
Ormai conoscete la mia passione per il mare e per le barche, ed oggi voglio essere più didattico e spiegare passo per passo la creazione di un acquarello.

Come avrete modo di vedere, anche stavolta non ho disegnato prima il contenuto da realizzare, ma partendo da una mia idea e seguendo istinto e fantasia, come nella scrittura creativa, sono andato per gradi a determinare un soggetto, in questo caso marino.

Prima una considerazione: il disegno è una pianificazione chiara ed esplicativa dell'idea, è la parte razionalizzata visibile, la progettazione di un obiettivo, e spesso se non collimano idea e disegno, il senso di frustrazione è profondo.

Nel mio dipinto ho voluto negare questo passaggio, niente disegno, per essere più libero e svincolato da canoni formali ed estetici che a volte limitano la creatività e la fantasia.
Questa modalità espressiva, che ha avuto origine nell'informale, spesso agevola nell'insegnamento della materia artistica nelle scuole, perchè rendi l'alunno libero, di conseguenza anche il ragazzo meno portato al disegno.
Se trasferisci queste modalità espressive, valorizzandole, nella didattica, su un piano aperto, senza parametri e valori formali, come il realismo, le proporzioni, il chiaroscuro e altre regole, l'allievo si sentirà più libero di esprimersi, e gratificato assumendo un atteggiamento più consapevole, senza avere quel senso di frustrazione determinato dalle regole del disegno.

Nelle mie lezioni in classe, spesso parto da linee, che a loro volta generano forme e poi riempirle con i colori.
I ragazzi restano a bocca aperta e si aprono a nuove esperienze creative, divertendosi.

Hello everyone!
Today I share a watercolor with the marine theme to which I am very attached.
By now you know my passion for the sea and for boats, and today I want to be more didactic and explain step by step the creation of a watercolor.

As you will see, even this time I did not draw the content to be created, but starting from my idea and following instinct and fantasy, as in creative writing, I went gradually to determine a subject, in this case marine.

First a consideration: the design is a clear and explanatory planning of the idea, it is the rationalized visible part, the design of a goal and often if they do not match idea and design, the sense of frustration is very deep.

In my painting I wanted to deny this passage, I have not draw, to be freer and free from formal and aesthetic canons that sometimes limit creativity and imagination.
This expressive modality, which originated in the informal, often facilitates the teaching of artistic material in schools, so that the pupil becomes free, and consequently also the boy less inclined to drawing.
If you transfer these expressive modalities, enhancing them, in teaching, on an open plan, without parameters and formal values, such as realism, proportions, chiaroscuro and other rules, the student will feel more free to express himself, and gratified by adopting an attitude more aware, without having that sense of frustration determined by the rules of drawing.

In my lessons in class, I often start with lines, which in turn generate shapes and then fill them with colors.
The boys are amazed and open to new creative experiences, having fun.

Let's go back to my watercolor:

come vedete, niente disegno e prime linee tracciate liberamente in verticale.

as you can see, no drawing and first lines drawn freely vertically.

nel secondo passaggio aggiungo macchie di colore, facendo sempre attenzione a non usare colori scuri che annullerebbero l'effetto tipico dell'acquarello.

in the second step I add color spots, always taking care not to use dark colors that would cancel the typical effect of watercolor.

Notate che lascio dei bianchi che ritroveremo fino alla fine, il bianco resta l'elemento compositivo più luminoso e importante della scena.

Note that I leave the white that we will find until the end, white remains the most luminous and important compositional element of the scene.

Soltanto nell'ultimo passaggio uso dei colori coprenti, più scuri, come il blu cobalto o oltremare, il viola con l'aggiunta del grigio di Payne e il magenta.
Disegno con il colore scuro solo piccoli dettagli dell scafo e degli alberi di una barca, i nostri occhi completeranno tutta la visione.

Only in the last step do I use darker opaque colors such as cobalt blue or ultramarine, purple with the addition of Payne gray and magenta.
Drawing with the dark color only small details of the hull and trees of a boat, our eyes will complete the whole vision.
