Tax Free Savings Account Contribution Increase!!
Hello everyone, I'm sure some of you are aware of this already but TFSA contribution room for 2019 has increased. As of January 1, 2019, we will be able to contribute $6,000 a year rather than the previous $5,500.
Although this makes it convenient to contribute $500 a month, I would urge everyone to contribute the full $6k at the beginning of the year. I say this because you then get 12 months of tax-free growth.
What are your thoughts about this increase? All comments are appreciated.
