Introducing SteemSpots!

“Traveling—it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”

WHO ARE BEHIND STEEMSPOTS?

Batad, Banaue, Ifugao - 2017

Junebride and PanoramicView are based in Cebu City, have been married for three years but their love story started in the year 2008 when they were in college. This collegemates turned lovers has a love for travel. It was in 2008 when they also started discovering new places around them even when they were still in the university.

It was @junebride who shares their travel stories online through her bitLanders blog. PanoramicView, on the other hand, takes nice photos and shares it with his steemit account.

But as #steemgigs was launched, an idea sprouted too in the heart of @panoramicview. As a solid supporter of #steemgigs and @surpassinggoogle, he encapsulated the same idea which Terry had been promoting :

"Everyone has something to offer."

Truly, that line means more than just the words in it.

It empowers every individual, encourages, inspires and constantly persuades that you and I are superstars of our own. It uplifts every soul to showcase the beauty of each individual, to keep improving and just share to the entire world what we could offer.

While @junebride has also shared some of their travel stories, she can't deny the fact that her steemit page has become a sort of random ideas. From her travel DIY stories to her art pieces and even just random stuff. On the other hand, @panoramicview's account is mostly used for his development entries and activities while also focusing on his photography posts.

It was in an unexpected conversation that they both agreed that they'll start a new steemit account solely for travel stories, with #steemgigs as an inspiration, they both are now launching #steemspots where "every place/spot has something to offer."

Originally, it was supposed to be Steem Destinations but the account name is too long, thankfully @surpassinggoogle had given few suggested names and eventually, we ended up with Steem Spots.

WHY STEEMSPOTS?

Derived from two words, Steem and Spots, @junebride and @panoramicview wanted to share every single spot they will be visiting may it be in the Philippines or abroad, in the province or city, tackling on "what this new spot can offer" and be hoping to add value to the Steem community.

STEEMSPOTS MISSION

With every single spot unlocked and featured within this platform, they will be storing the information, the photos, and media films into the blockchain which will keep all memories forever. This will possibly become a legacy to their future family and even to the generations to come.

STEEMSPOTS VISION

This initiative has a bigger goal for the future, that when that time comes, this travel diary will soon be powered by the Steem Cryptocurrency. It would then be a dream come true to move anywhere without any limitations, without the pressure of budget and time, by that point, true freedom can be achieved.

We truly appreciate how @surpassinggoogle had helped us with the account creation. This is just the start!

To our next spot,

Jean & James

Links for Newbies:
Hello! I’ve been here since January and wish someone had given me the following links when I made my introduction post. I could have done better sooner.
Steemworld.org is a free service that interfaces with steemit.com and provides a wealth of information about your account. Use your own @handle to access your account information.
https://steemworld.org/@chuck2u32

If you are coming here to pick a fight be advised that they have a flagging system here that penalizes your account “wallet” for unacceptable behavior. This a post will help avoid problems:

Don’t beg for upvotes or resteems:

One of the biggest mistakes I made was that I was too anxious to get into this platform and did not read ALL of the Frequently Asked Questions: Read the whole thing including the “White Paper”. You will not regret taking the time to learn these important facts:
https://steemit.com/faq.html

This is about the slow grind to gain reputation and steem power:

I typically post and resteem articles helpful to new steemians. If you choose to follow me I will be happy to answer your questions.

Good luck and have fun!

Those are really helpful..thanks dear

You are welcome.
