This account was created to promote orphan work and care for poor children

Hi All,

This STEEMIT account was created to promote orphan work and care for poor children, primarily in South Africa.
100% of the proceeds will go to orphan work as do all gifts to Orphans Justice.

For myself there is not much to say as I am not promoting myself.
I have a full time aerospace job and my wife and I do orphan work along with the help of some great volunteer staff in Africa.

I have many heart rending stories I could share if there is any interest.

In the meantime, suffice to say that when a child receives a new dress or pair of shorts, sometimes it is the very first new piece of clothing they have ever had, their eyes light up and shine like stars with wonder and pride.
In bush areas a new dress is the first covering for a little girl wearing only panties, which is very important for self worth, modesty and protection.
When we provide school uniforms they are received much the same way. Typically this is the first set of clothing owned without holes, tears and un-mended areas that they own. You can literally watch their little hearts swell with pride and confidence. Suddenly the child stands up straight and holds the head high, a smile breaks out that will not disappear.
We all need people in our lives to belie in us, believe in our self worth and boost us up a bit.
