I have given myself the challenge to do something new every day for thirty days.
After spending eleven months on the island, I'm currently living out my last month in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I will be returning to my home in Germany in late August, where I'll start my new life, a new job, in a new industry.
Thus, this challenge should be fairly easy to do. I have enough time and there is loads to do. Some ideas on what I want to do:
Those "new things" can be fairly simple like taking a different route somewhere or trying a fruit I've never had. Or, they can be a little more interesting like going paragliding or climbing a mountain.
Some ideas I've come up with so far:
- Walk around the neighborhood and discover streets I haven't seen before
- Start a regular 30-day-challenge post on steemit
- Buy (and eat) the weird looking fruit I've seen multiple times on in the fruit market
- Give a street performer 5€
- Buy something I don't need
I am going on vacation for a week on Friday so I'm sure there are loads of new things to try in La Gomera like climbing volcanos. However, I'm also looking for inspiration, so I'm turning to you for help.
Tell me a few things that I could do that I probably haven't done before and I'll try to incorporate them into my plan.
For today, I am going to do two new things. I am starting this challenge and writing about it, asking the community for help, and I'll take a different route to my Spanish class today.
Thanks for reading and you'll hear from me soon!
