Hi Paolo, it is simply offering any form of service to steemians for a small fee, like is done on fiverr.com where people get services done by people around the world for 5 dollars. steemit fixes all the problem fiverr has, as fiverr is centralized, a third party merchant with fees. Steemit already has a reputable community of great minds, brothers and sisters and a fast way to pay for service without fees. "Everyone has something to offer and especially steemians". #steemgigs can be anything, weird, fun etc. The overall aim of #steemgigs is to join the cause of steemit Inc to grow steemit and bring steemit to the mainstream. So we are looking at strengthing our existing community by know the depth of resources that our base steemit communty already offers and hopefully, 5,000 steemit posts on google, promoting steemit as also a place where you can offer services and receive steem without fees, will do some good to help steemit marketing. We wish to make #steemgigs or #steemgig as popular as #til once was so that the steemit community can participate but this account is still new and i am @surpassinggoogle, i don't have much influence yet, so the least i can do for now, is resteem #steemgigs, upvote, share on twitter and link steemians to steemgigs as well as write posts to categorize and feature steemgigs, to encourage steemians who are providing a service exclusive to steemians. Also think #steemgigs links have more tendency of being shared because if a steemian is offering a service, he will like to share his or her service to social media and with family and friends.
