Here's a user-friendly guide to Steemit that I put together for new users especially that you may find helpful. It's a very brief introduction to the most basic elements of Steemit, which are steem, steem dollars, steem power, voting power, followers, vests and witnesses. User statistics. Just put in your @name (external sites using the blockchain):

- Steem.supply - stats on possible payouts to your account.
- Steemnow - more interesting account stats.
