After studying steemit bit more & reading some articles (huge shout out to @georgedonnelly for his post), we found out that we are missing introduction post. There is firstpost just to start off and get familiar with posting articles on steemit, but it did not serve the right purpose I guess. So, let me introduce

Live the life Expeditions - Dinotruck

Who are we?

Group of people, mostly from Czech Republic, who love traveling, meeting new people, enjoying life with all its upsides and downsides.
As our logo sugests, we try to live, not stagnate.
Me – as an author of these posts – I am 35 years old guy working in IT. This allows me to work on the road and pay my bills. I also have my own steemit @MitalB.

Why do we do this?

To prove that life is not just your phone, work, mortgage and one place where you live.
To prove that world is not as dangerous as you may see in TV.
To prove that there are still nice people around who are friendly, try to help and don’t ask much for a return.
But most importantly to enjoy life. Only thing which can make your life feel “longer” is to fill it with new things and experiences. Otherwise it runs so fast, flowing out between our fingers, without any chance to get hold of it. And then one day, you get sick and / or die. End of story. No more “one day I will go / do this and that”. No more chances to visit some place, call your friend, eat that expensive food you wanted to try.
Once this day will come, you probably want to look back and say, “well, it was worth it” rather than “damn, I wasted it all”.

How do we do this?

On day by day basis, we usually have no plans, just set targets and general ideas. We stop where we want, we stay where we like and we move on when we feels like it.
We follow highlights from books like Lonely Planet or Bradt, we speak with local people to get general idea about surroundings or we simply explore by our self.
