My Introduction And How To Make A Kid Happy, The Tardis Bed – My First Post

Hello Steemians  

This is my first actual post.  I’ve been messing around with Musing.io for a few days and my answers show up as blog posts.  

Until a couple months ago the only social I had was LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/matthewrhunter1 Check it out, it’s pretty much my Bio. 

Then I decided I needed to start some accounts for my business and stumbled upon SteemIT. I’m a nerd and I like crypto/blockchain so I joined and have been struggling with what to post on. 

I tend to be a “jack of all trades” type so I don’t really have a niche. Do I hit Tech market, crypto/blockchain, consulting, working from home, playing music, outdoors stuff, woodworking, mechanics, engineering, construction, electronics, business, or just being a general nerd? I enjoy all of them so what do I run with? After a few days of poking around, I decided it didn’t really matter, just post something. So I’m letting a little of the creative woodworking nerd out. 

What will I post next, I have no idea. Honestly, if you have something you would like to see a post on let me know. I’m great at research, and love the learning process. 

  A couple years ago I built a room out in the basement for the girls and as part of that project custom beds. This is the bed I built for my oldest daughter, they got to pick what they wanted.  

The Tardis Bed.

It turned out pretty awesome.  

 

 

Complete with a desk, bookshelves and purple magnetic blackboard inside. It really is bigger on the inside….

 

Then what Dr Who reference is complete without a Dolic....

 

And some pretty cool storage.

I think it turned out pretty good (even before I frosted the windows)
