If we want to see STEEM price go to $10, $100 or even $1000 dollars we all need to contribute to the community by creating quality content, fair curation and development of apps on Steem blockchain.
After some consideration BeScouted - a photography marketplace for all photography industry freelancers with more than 10 thousand talented members, chose Steem as their blockchain to build on and a few days ago connected to Steem blockchain. First BeScouted community members are already joining Steemit and are sharing their quality content on both platforms: BeScouted and Steemit.
Becoming a member
Anybody can signup on BeScouted either by E-mail or with their Facebook account. You can signup as one of many talents, or with account type "Other" if your goal is to get inspiration and only curate content without uploading any photos. You connect to Steemit by entering your username and private posting key afterwards and you are eligible to all author and curation rewards just like you are on Steemit.Posting
Any photo you upload on BeScouted will also appear on your Steemit timeline. If it gets upvoted on BeScouted you will get your rewards directly to your Steemit wallet, if it gets promoted on Steemit it will also reflect in your earnings on BeScouted. Basically you get double exposure for the same post and since BeScouted is photography community with content discovery mechanism, hence you will be increasing your exposure.This is the beauty of decentralized databases as it allows many front end applications run on it simultaneously. There have been recent cases Steemit not working because of the DDOS attacks while at that time BeScouted was working perfectly and users could make posts and curate the content. We are sure there will be more and more applications that run on Steem blockchain making attacks on a specific app pointless.
Curation
There are more then ten thousand talented members on BeScouted and many of them are already joining Steemit after hearing the exciting news about previously unimaginable opportunities and amazing Steemit community. This is our small contribution to the overall growth of Steemit, adoption of STEEM token and adding to it's value which we all want to go to the moon:)Upvoting photos on BeScouted is the same as upvoting posts on Steemit. You will get your curation rewards, users will see your upvotes on steemnow.com, steemd.com or on any of many amazing tools that Steemit members have created for each of us to use free of charge. BeScouted is on the same blockchain as Steemit.
Current developmet
Currently we are working restlessly on the commenting part that will bring Steemit comments to our community. Commenting on BeScouted will also be visible in the comments on Steemit and Vice Versa. We are a bootstrapped project so sometimes it takes a bit longer to implement new features on legacy code than we would like to but the guys are taking hours from their sleep to make things happening faster. We will be raising money after some initial development, so in case any investor who believes in the future of Steem would like to talk to us about building the biggest photography marketplace in the world, we are open to a discussion.
Other features
BeScouted has developed an advanced casting system which is very useful when you need to find multiple people such as models, make-up artists, hair stylists etc. for your photoshoots. It is also used to find paid work since productions houses, companies and brands are posting castings to find content creators to produce some specific content. 90% of visual content in the world is produced by freelancers. In the future payments will be able to be processed in STEEM that would tremendously cut the cost of production and increase value and liquidity of STEEM token.We are also planning to add locations scouting, talent search by face recognition powered by machine learning and AI, automatic job matching and too many other to mention. We will be creating a separate post regarding our plans and road map. Our main priority now is to be fully functional on Steem blockchain.
SMT
We are impatiently waiting for the Velocity hard fork that will allow effortless on boarding and creation of communities through Smart Media Token. Most definitely we will be creating out token and one of the elements in it's distribution will be popularity points that you gain by uploading content on BeScouted when it is upvoted. So Basically that is another reason to upload your photos on BeScouted as effectively you are getting two tokens STEEM and Token "X" .We would love to thank all "Steemit" community members for a very warm welcome we have received, for all the help and assistance while connecting BeScouted to the Steem blockchain. You rock guys and girls! With such community in place i am sure Steemit and the whole STEEM blockchain is going to the moon very soon! 
Hooray, congratulations! I registered in BeScouted and uploaded three photos. How can I post downloaded photos to Steemit? Where can I find instructions for BeScouted.๐๐๐๐๐
You can ask @bescouted directly :) You know the guy we believe :) And welcome to BeScouted. Once you post a photo on BeScouted it will automatically appear on your Steemit timeline :) So please consider this as there is no difference which interface you use for making a post, it is on the same blockchain :)

Is this only for photography, or can artists/painters upload pictures as well?
It is a photography community only mate, sorry :) I am sure soon enough somebody will build one for any kind of visual arts.

i tried to connect my Bescouted account to the steemit account right now but got this error - Invalid Private Posting Key
is this possible that i connected already ? how can i know please David ?
I am almost positive that you are copy/pasting your first posting key that you see when you open permissions tab right? To get the private posting key that is needed you actually need to press a button "show private key" next to it and use it. Sadly we were so short on time to include link with the tutorial, but so many people have this issue. Something needs to be done :) Let me know if that works.

Excited to learn about the BeScouted photography community. I just checked out the site and it looks great. I signed up already and will start posting some model photos tomorrow. It seemed focused on model photography but I saw also street and documentary photographs. Are all photography genres welcome?
Hi, @edward.maesen Thanks! And still so much needs to be done! Any photography that shows artistic value or effort is welcome. It just happened naturally as BeScouted was online some time before the STEEM Blockchain and it somehow gravitated to portrait photography due to our unique casting system probably. But again, any kind of photography is welcome.

You can create convenient casting on BeScouted too and find multiple team members at once. As soon as community in your region joins :)
Wonderful. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years and was spoiled by the many photo meetups and models there. Now I live in a small mountain town where there are little or no photo opportunities (aside from the beautiful nature scene of course), so I hope I can connect with people online.
I am sure you will see many people from your current area soon it BeScouted takes off :) And a lot of that depends on each and every community member.
Yes I hope so and I agree. I migrated here from google+ and I am going to promote BeScouted and steemit in general there. Letting people know that I moved. I particularly like that/how the two are integrated.

Thanks @outerground yes we are thinking about doing SMT as the update roll out first quarter 2018. We have started some time ago, but there is still a lot of to be done. We are currently bootstrapping the project but after launching SMT, we together with the chain gang will make BeScouted the best photography community in the world that rewards authors in a fair way. Great work. I'm really impressed with the quality of your thinking, execution of the product and top marks for jumping right in there. I noticed that my street photography looks a bit mad in among your glamourous model shoots. I know the model and casting side is a big part of bescouted. Just let me know if you think my photos are not appropriate for the channel. I do have images of people but as you know my interests lie in street photography, nature, landscape and macro.. anything natural. If I'm bringing something a bit different and you are up for that, that's great but let me know anyway. Best of luck with it and speak soon. :)
No, not at all, all photos are welcome. It just gravitated like that due to our extensive network and castings functionality on the platform and we are mostly portrait photographers. So first traction resulted in mostly portrait and fashion photography. But lets take 500px for example, portrait and other types of photography go so well together with no problem at all. So you are more than welcome to share and build your own audience.
that's great news ! thanks @bescouted. I will add some more work and will do my best to help promote it on my small but growing photo discord channel. You have some great work on there and some very talented photographers and models. I also know a few real world photographers who I will send the link on to (fashion photographer)
