You should find steemit to be an enjoyable experience.
Start posting quality content. Make thought comments. It is good that you have joined @mitneb Discord. Start chatting and meeting both old and n new members, network, get to know them....
And slowly, your following will grow, you will start to get noticed, and then the earning will increase.
Remember to drop in all of your posts at the #help-a-brother-out channel for other members to read, upvote, comment, and resteem.
Meanwhile, I suggest you look up these articles, they will help guide you on how to succeed here, they will show you which mistakes to avoid and how to progress fast.
