I'm Zia and I would like to introduce myself

I'm Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, you could call me Zia.

Firstly I have started my volunteering work with 'The King of Madersha Organization (KMO) in 2006. It’s situated in Chittagong, Bangladesh. I was the Founder President for this association. KMO is committed to ensure its highest ability to serve the distressed people. It’s our responsibility to make a unity to serve the poor people. And for that some friends of Madersha, made an organization named KMO which is promised to all help the helpless and it established on January 1, 2006. I was studying secondary school when i have founded this Organization. I have organized many inspiration events for young generation. Like quiz competition, scholarship exam, celebrating popular days etc. The main thing i have done under this association is scholarship exam in 2010 & 2011. And around 40 schools joined in this scholarship exam. When my age was like 17. This is one of the big achievement for me.

Secondly I have founded another similar association in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Which name was Cambrian Friendz Foundation (CFF). We have collected 100 BDT for each member as a monthly fee. I had 30 active members in CFF and I was Founder Chairmen for 5 years. And the money distributed to the helpless people and also we have donated the ‘Rana Plaza Tragedy’ in Dhaka.

Thirdly I came to Malaysia for higher degree. Then in my university I have founded one student association name Bangladeshi Students’ Association (BDSA) in UCSI University. I was Founder President of this association and after a year I’m become elected President of BDSA. Currently UCSI University has 140+ Bangladeshi students whose studying. This association is to support academic & activities to the Bangladeshi students in UCSI, Representing my beloved Bangladesh and promote Bangladeshi culture between international friends and local friends, making a better communication between Bangladeshi students and UCSI University students.

Fourthly I have joined Bangladeshi Student Organization Malaysia (BSOM) in 2014. And I’m one of the Co-Founder of BSOM. BSOM has more than 45 universities/colleges involvement. I’m the former President of this association. With this association we are representing Bangladesh and its culture in Malaysia, helping students studying in Malaysia, making a better communication into different universities Bangladeshi Students in Malaysia, meeting High Commissioner to solve the student’s issues. BSOM is an association for helping Bangladeshi students studying in Malaysia. We all are living in abroad country. We don’t have family over here. All the universities are in one umbrella. I am so glad to done this for them.

Fifthly I have worked with International Student Association (ISA) of UCSI University as Academics & Career Director. I was helping international students with their both in academics and career, was helping international students to promote their tradition and culture, was organizing conferences etc.

Lastly I have joined Student Council (SC) of UCSI University as an assistant marketing director. My responsibilities was raising Students Council funds, managing sponsors, managing media for the events, organizing events to raise SC funds, giving more facilities to the students, meeting with university management to solve the student’s issues, helping association/clubs in UCSI University.

Now this is my last semester in UCSI University and my major in BEng in Mechatronics Engineering.
