I’m actually away from home visiting family in Japan at the moment.
I had to leave in a hurry so it’s been a crazy week.
I finally had a chance to sit down so I though I should draw something for @whatisnew’s giveaway.
Although, I’ve been away from drawing on paper, I noticed my eye sight is worse...I tried to zoom in on what I was drawing on paper just like I would zoom in on things on my tablet but you know, that won’t work lol.
Anyways, I drew a ladybug with some patterns today.

実は只今、急遽一時帰国となりまして、実家でバタバタしています。
ようやく落ち着いてきたので、お絵描きタイムとなったのですが、最近、視力が落ちたので描いているものが見えない見えない！😭
タブレットで描いている時の様にズームして描ければ良いのですが、どうやっても紙はズーム出来ないですよね、笑
今日はてんとう虫をパターンで描きました。
自分で描いておいてなんですが、目がチカチカしますね ^^;

What annoyance that in the papers we can not zoom as we do with tablets right? XD

日本は暑いですね。
バンクーバーの一番暑い日より暑いです。
今回はいろいろありまして、娘たちの学校も始まっていますし、もうすぐ帰ります。

A one-of-a-kind ladybug for sure and I love it! Thanks for taking the time to draw it. Your pattern art is so detailed, it is no wonder you are having problems with your eyes. It sure would be nice if we could zoom in on paper. LOL! You said that you had to leave in a hurry so I hope that everything is OK with your family in Japan.

This is something we all need to face when we get old and living far away doesn’t help very much but we are ok now. Thanks for your kind word @whatisnew. It warm up my heart :)
I bet you won't even find zoomable paper there in Japan while buying your special art supplies. LOL!

Do you have digital work of your patterns for which we could colour on our tablets? :]
I do draw digitally sometimes but I’ve never drew for colouring.
That’s something I can look into though. Thank for the great idea!
I love colouring adult colouring books, which have pictures and patterns just like you've made here.. and I'd love to colour one-of-a-kind line art made by an artist like you! Please keep me posted if you do!
