Why Inner Blocks is your community...!
With the excitement of communities hanging in the air, we thought it would be a great time to make a declaration. Innerblocks is your community. Don't get me wrong, we are not telling you what to do, but we are making it very clear of what Innerblocks is and has to offer.
Since it's inception @innerblocks has been defining what it is. Each step of the way we have taken in the ideas that community members have given. The idea has been to not just build something and then give it to the world, but to build and design something with everyones input. There is no doubt that Innerblocks has grown, and all of the credit goes to the members.
The Mission Statement is simple:
Our company, Inner Blocks, exists to provide the world with an opportunity to recognize all of life's potential. Supporting individuals, while cultivating ownership of personal experiences.
With that, it is important to know what Innerblocks is really about, and why it is a good fit for you. Currently there is a custom front end that you can find at https://www.theinnerblocks.com. That is what we call version 1.0, and has been developed as a jumping off point for what is to come. In Q1 of 2020 we are set to release version 2.0. The next version will be equipped for SMT and ready for the public. As much as we are excited about what Steemit Inc. is doing with communities, we know that independent front ends will be the future of the Steem Blockchain.
Innerblocks is built with the core principle of real life. To support and encourage others that are seeking to share the things that make them who they are. Not only are we running a curation team that supports an average of 170 creators a week, but the front end will be the next step in giving others the opportunity to be who they are.
On the front end there are two categories. The first is the main categories that you will see on the main page. The second is the sub categories that the main categories divide into. This should allow seemingly buried content to be brought to the forefront of the very topic it is discussing. This increases content discovery and further builds the feeling of community. We are all living our own journey, and social media is letting us do it together.

These are the main categories that we have currently divided content into. We cast a broad stroke that includes many, if not all, of the aspects of life. As the community continues to grow, so will the categories. Along with the main categories are the subcategories. That will look like this.

As you can see, Innerblocks is not just a niche, unless you call life a niche. It is about bringing people together. It is about celebrating what makes us all unique and what makes us who we are. There is a distinct feeling or vibe that you get from Innerblocks. I'll share some comments from some community members.
@sayee Innerblocks supports quality content and not just members but it could be any random person belonging to any random community or just using steemit. That's what makes it special

The future is bright and the sky is the limit. We are very appreciative of everything that is happening on the Steem Blockchain, and we are excited to create a little corner of it.
We hope that you would consider everything that Innerblocks has to offer. Not just a tag, not just an airdropped token, but a community that has you and your best interest in mind.

Myself and @derangedvisions support all the communities we can on the Steem Blockchain, we have an incredible and wonderful diverse range of people posting and so many communities to support and help them - it's actually incredible how much work so many people put into making Steem amazing - and it is truly is. But at the same time all our communities need to help each other - individually everyone can make a difference - but together we are a mighty force! I have so much admiration for all you do at @innerblocks, alongside the amazing efforts from @thealliance, @helpie, @steemterminal @theramble and that's just a few...Now let's all have a !COFFEEA 15 and get on with the job!

201 people... myself being one... even one that went the wrong direction with their vote, but still working on the innerblocks that make us who we are. Why? Because that's what life is all about... right?
There won't always be complete agreement; we know life is like that... sometimes we have to agree to disagree, but that's ok. I appreciate you sharing my thoughts on what #innerblocks is to me, as well as what other's also think...
Here's to what's important... community's, people... you, and me... because no matter what, in the end, it's all about the blocks we are creating...
