A Call to Reflect | Inktober - Day #11 "Cruel"
The human race, a group of individuals that has grown exponentially over the centuries, practically becoming a plague that dominates the earth, although its development has created beauty and great inventions, has also been a poison for the planet.
The cruelest species that steps on the planet
When man multiplied, he found himself with the need to expand his territories, destroying forests, rivers, plains and mountains, without worrying at all about the other species that were there long before.
This is bad enough, but not so bad compared to the atrocities against other species made for fun and hobby. Humans have been responsible for bringing too many animal species to the brink of extinction, in many cases just for a handful of bills.
Sport Hunting
For carnivorous animals, hunting is the way to obtain their livelihood and satiate their hunger, for thousands of years humans should have used this medium for food, but now this method is not necessary, leaving aside the cruel facts that are committed in the production of farm animals, many people kill animals for entertainment.
In the United States, an average of 200 million animals are killed every year, just for fun, which is too alarming a figure; putting it from the point of view of human massacres, the Nazi holocaust in 5 years claimed the lives of 10 million people, which means that in a single country, in a single year there are 190 times more animal killings than the genocide committed by the Nazis for half a decade.
Poaching
If it is not enough with the number of animal deaths within the law, this one even more atrocious, it is the illegal hunting in clearly wild areas, with the sole purpose of killing exotic species and many times on the verge of extinction, for what? so that a wealthy lady can show off her leopard leather wallet, or a millionaire can show off her collection of ivory carvings or her crocodile-skinned shoes; all at the expense of the lives of innocent creatures who are murdered and cold-bloodedly tortured by cruel and greedy humans.
Animal confrontations
Killing them directly is not fun enough, so many people are given the task of training puppies with the sole purpose of making them violent, then face them against each other until the strongest fall, just to name the canines, as there are clashes between cocks, snakes and many other animals, only to enrich the pockets of their masters.
To culminate this sad publication, we must talk a little about the feast of organized sadism, that which is transmitted by the media and so much amuses its spectators, the bullfights. Those despicable events where a bull is tortured to death, a poor animal full of fear and despair, no matter how much it roars and seeks to save its life, each time the crowd celebrates with an "ooleee", while a bloodthirsty clown dress waves a cloak of clothes and crosses its flesh with the cold metal.
Personally I hate each individual sitting in the bullrings, so much so that I feel no compassion when some wretched bull manages to escape its torture, goring its way through the crowd, did they go to see blood? For there you have it, be partakers of your own sadism and cruelty.
Because of all this and many other topics that I cannot cover, I can say that the human being is the most cruel being that has ever stepped on our planet. But you can make that change, you are the father and educator of future generations, perhaps the damage is already done and the suffering has been much, but that can stop, living in harmony is not impossible, let's take care of our cohabitants, the world is not only ours, they deserve to live.

What is inktober?
The inktober is an initiative created by the illustrator Jake Parker in 2009, in order to improve his artistic skills, although over the years has made a great impact on the international artistic community. The challenge is to make a drawing with ink every day, hence its name, "ink" (ink) "tober" (October), although for the most part this is respected, many other artists prefer to stay in their comfort zone, so you can see illustrations made with watercolors, graphite, charcoal, digital and any existing technique.
