A lot of my articles are done with the #informationwar. I can't really claim to be a contributor yet though, because I only write for now, don't have enough SP to give back to the project
You are a contributing writer for sure! You have enough steempower to join the curation trail also by the way. You really only need like 10 SP total for it to work correctly.

@truthorce is right. Writing informationwar tag post will help you get to a point where you can delegate SP faster and in the mean time you are doing, which is important and valuable. Every time you up vote on the curation trail it counts big time and it is automated. Glad to have you aboard.
P.S I am speaking from experience as a informationwar tag success and have delegated 25. SP to the curation trail in less then 40 days as @commonlaw .

I would recommend to follow the curation trail as you are still building up your Steempower :)
Following the curation trail just means you are following whatever the @informationwar account upvotes, and you get the rewards for it just like a normal upvote.

I love informationwar, and I've written a few articles that you were kind enough to curate, but I don't know if I could write consistently enough to call myself an author for you. I'll just stay off the list for now. ;)

The only requirements are they need to post 3 to 4 times total a week and it has to be about Informationwar stuff to start with. The reason for that is that I have to delegate about 15 steempower to them to start with and I need them to make posts that are IW related so I can give them upvotes from the IW account, and then when they earn their own Steempower I can take the delegation away and then use that for making more accounts for others :)

I have a good friend stuck in applying limbo, he requested an account a month ago. Do you have any advice I could give a guy like that? He said he followed the FAQs already and he may have tried his best to go that route already.
He could use anonsteem if he is willing to spend about 15 bucks worth of LTC or Steem to make an account. https://anon.steem.network/
You will end up losing like 5 or 6 bucks in total. When you fund it with 5 Steem they keep 2 for themselves and then they let you keep the remaining 3 SP.
Or if he is an Information War kinda guy and wants to write blog posts I can make an account for him.
