A lot of my articles are done with the #informationwar. I can't really claim to be a contributor yet though, because I only write for now, don't have enough SP to give back to the project
You are a contributing writer for sure! You have enough steempower to join the curation trail also by the way. You really only need like 10 SP total for it to work correctly.

@truthorce is right. Writing informationwar tag post will help you get to a point where you can delegate SP faster and in the mean time you are doing, which is important and valuable. Every time you up vote on the curation trail it counts big time and it is automated. Glad to have you aboard.
P.S I am speaking from experience as a informationwar tag success and have delegated 25. SP to the curation trail in less then 40 days as @commonlaw .

I would recommend to follow the curation trail as you are still building up your Steempower :)
Following the curation trail just means you are following whatever the @informationwar account upvotes, and you get the rewards for it just like a normal upvote.
