Headline: Organizers hope to draw half a million to gun control rally

So the Soros groups are marching in Washington DC again and this time they are using children to shield them from criticism, but where are the pussy hats? These kids should be wearing pussy hats. This time it would make sense.

WASHINGTON — Thousands are gathering in Washington Saturday for a protest that organizers claim will be a defining moment in the long-simmering national debate over gun-control legislation.

Organizers of the March for Our Lives rally are hoping to draw 500,000 protesters; that would match last year's women's march and make this one of the largest Washington protests since the Vietnam era. It would also bolster claims that the nation is ready to enact sweeping changes to its gun control laws. More than 800 marches are planned in cities across America and dozens of locations overseas to be held at roughly the same time.

Of course by "organizers of the Women's March" they mean "groups funded by George Soros". That is who is organizing this supposedly student led rally. Frankly I don't understand how this rally would bolster claims that the nation is ready to enact sweeping gun control, for me it just bolsters the claim that Soros and the media are desperate to disarm the American people and that this is their last gasp, a children's crusade because everything else has failed. Those claims need bolstering because they are false.

The article then has a slideshow of 22 pictures of children holding mostly preprinted signs provided by the Soros groups. Kids love holding signs:

Washington is generally nonchalant about protests, but Saturday's gathering has prompted more attention and speculation than usual. Washington officials say they are prepared to handle the crowds — more prepared than they were for the women's march, which far exceeded the organizers' official predictions of 300,000.

Um yeah, when the left/ deep state/ globalists want to push a certain narrative then they have their media give it more attention, so when they stage something like this obviously it will be on the front page of every outlet involved with Operation Mockingbird. When thousands gather on the steps of the MA state house to protest for gun rights their outlets don't cover it at all.

The protesters, many of them high school students, claim that the youth leadership of this initiative is what will set it apart from previous attempts to enact stronger gun-control legislation.

But of course there is no youth leadership in this initiative, here is a story about the adult who is coaching all the parkland crisis performers.
They are just using these children as useful idiots, the kids read scripts and hold preprinted signs.

In the wake of the Feb. 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, the students have tapped into a powerful current of pro-gun control sentiment that has been building for years. They have also partnered with well-funded liberal groups such as Everytown for Gun Safety, the gun control advocacy group founded by former New York mayor and billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

There it is, thanks for admitting that Bloomberg is one of the funders of this effort, a billionaire with an army of personal armed guards who wants to disarm you. "a powerful current of pro-gun control sentiment that has been building for years", that's funny, every poll shows that the majority of Americans favor gun rights and that the percentage does not change much, some times in the wake of a massacre if they promote it enough on TV and the media they can get it a brief fluctuation but of course there is no powerful current building. This is what you call propaganda "the victory of our forces is imminent, resistance is futile".

What's funny is that even after admitting that Bloomberg is sponsoring this and the Soros women's groups are organizing it and the media is promoting it they will still make the absurd claim this is student led!

Polls indicate that public opinion nationwide may indeed be shifting on an issue that has simmered for generations, and through dozens of mass shootings. A new poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, found that 69 percent of Americans think gun laws in the United States should be tightened. That's up from 61 percent who said the same in October of 2016 and 55 percent when the AP first asked the question in October of 2013. Overall, 90 percent of Democrats, 50 percent of Republicans and 54 percent of gun owners now favor stricter gun control laws.

Uh huh, those polls always shift for a brief period in the wake of a heavily publicized shooting event, and then they act like those are the new numbers even after they go back a month later. Which laws do they favor? That's where your consensus falls apart, right after a shooting when the emotions are high people want to "dooo something" but actual gun control proposals are not as popular.

But even with claims of historic social momentum on the issue of gun control, the AP poll also found that nearly half of Americans do not expect elected officials to take action. Among the questions facing march organizers and participants will be how to translate this one-day event, regardless of turnout, into meaningful legislative change.

Well that's crazy, no gun control law will have any "meaningful" change, lack of gun control laws does not cause these shootings and thus more gun control laws will not have any meaningful impact on them. Why would the AP claim differently?

One way is by channeling the current energy into mid-term congressional elections this fall. Students in Florida have focused on youth voter registration and there will be a registration booth at the Saturday rally.

Ah hah! So now we have the rest of the story, this is their play for the 2018 midterms! They are going to run on a gun control platform like Hillary did! It's funny, instead of changing their platform to fit people's beliefs they seem to want to change people's beliefs to fit their platform. What's scary is they think they can succeed.
