Information Finding Championship - Season 1: Round 11 (Kryptocek's journey to eternal glory)
Just this past week seeing all the new faces, new people joining the discord chat it sure makes it feel like we're apart of something! The snowball affect is really in full affect!
I couldn't agree more with @apolymask about @bashadow! I've been right there with him since the start and the BASHADOW is a true legend! I've been trying my best to make solid posts and make the contest seem appealing but @bashadow has truly gone above and beyond and I believe in giving credit where credit is due! I know @bashadow will be here right till the end so good luck in the rest of IFC!!
Also for all the judges I am sure its just going to get harder for all of you to figure out who to vote for with a bunch more solid entries! I hope we can find a way to compensate all of you. Also a big shout out to the one and only @charisma777. Everyone whose been here for a while knows everything she does!

Sortiarius's Chest unfortunately wasn't returned. Well it was but not by @kryptocek but by @sandrina.life. All is good since it got in the right hands and @apolymask will take care of the rest.
The Magic Dancing Shoes will be the next artifact. Except this one will be given by @apolymask for the winner of the next quest. Time to brain storm on ideas..
This next challenge is a little bit more complicated since there are three different quest you can tackle.
- Make a better level system
- Best Idea for an artifact
- Artwork for the competition

ELEVENTH QUEST; ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE
Well I don't know what happened I really don't but the chest was just gone. I was terrified since I thought maybe the CBots got into the Barn while I was hosting the party. I still don't know all the details but I think they hacked the blockchain and somehow decrypted all my pass locks and stole the chest.
Either way @sandrina.life got it back and delivered it to @apolymask. I bow too @sandrina.life for risking her life for the people of Cryptopia. She deserves all the strength and power the artifact brings her. She is one unique soul. I for one praise that especially in todays society we are scared to be ourselves.
It really is generous that @apolymask is willing to share his Magic Dancing Shoes. They come from a small local shop in the village of Cryptopia by the local cordwainer who goes by the name of @bashadow. Which is fitting since he's always been looking after the people of the village and making sure they would always have something on there feet to take the next step.
With everything running quite smoothly back on the farm it was time for me to go down into the village and get some work done and help in the community where I can.
ENTRY
A leveling sytem isn't east to build. You don't want it to be to complex, and you want it to be balanced as possible.

Of course if you get a more XP during a round it will count towards you net level!
EXAMPLE : Player A is 50 XP from leveling up to LEVEL 3.
But he get 90XP this round, so 40XP will carry over to his next level.

Now to how much everything in the game is worth XP wise.

Now here is an example how the standings can look (End of Season)

So here you can see the leaderboard from highest rank to lower
- From there you could have a Final 8 or final 16 knockout stage!
- 1v16 , 2v15,... and so on. 1 round knockout so maximum would be 3-4 rounds depending on if it was a final 8 or final 16.
**I would also add an advantage for being a higher level since you obviously took part in more challenges and got more votes, but still allowing the underdog a chance, assuming there is 6 judges by the end.

I think it still makes it fair for the underdog, but also giving an advantage to the favourite (since they earned it during the season).
This is my way of doing it. It may be to much but maybe you judges will find some of it interesting and able to incorporate some of it into the contest!
I think artifacts are a very interesting and important aspect to IFC. They are rare to find, and even rarer to possess. I want to introduce two artifacts that may or may not be in the competition at one point! We'll let the judges figure that one out! :)
Elixir of Influence
It will be awarded to a contestant after winning one of the challenges!
- The individual may use the elixir of influence to cast 1 vote within 5 rounds of receiving the elixir.
- The vote must be given to @apolymask privately before the end of the 7 days. (may only vote for another competitor, and not yourself)
- If you give your vote to the winner of the Challenge you will receive 1/2 the payout in aiding the competitor along with 1/2 the XP points for helping guide the individual to victory!
- Once you've placed your vote the elixir vanishes from thin air.
The staff of brawn
It will be awarded to a contestant after winning one of the challenged!
- The individual may use the elixir of influence to have 2 x XP for one round of there choice.
- It must be used within 5 round of using it. (Has to be used during the regular season, as it has no affect in the knockout rounds)
- Can decide after the votes if you want to use the Staff that round or not.
- Your XP will be doubled for the round once the staff is handed back over to @apolymask in the Digital Castle.
Hopefully in some way or another these two artifacts may be shared outside of the Digital Castle, it may not be this year but one day they may come out from the hidden chambers inside the castle.
Art for IFC
I myself was unfortunately not born with an ounce of artistic talent in my body, luckily I at least got part of a brain!
I was thinking long and hard about this. Since clearly we all enjoy @yeszuzia art work so much maybe we could keep working with her for the whole challenge. I personally think it will be cool to get a bunch of images made of this Digital World we live in! Even if it was an image every few weeks it could really add up, plus @yeszuzia I think is already getting some good upvotes from us sharing her work so it could be a win win for everyone!
So here is my idea:
- 10% of every payout can go to the Fund a photo for IFC!
- 10% from every donation can also go towards the cause
- Hopefully get a discounted price for the drawings since we will be getting a few made, and already everyone shares the artwork on steemit!
UPDATE!!! This is a photo of @bashadow and his magic dancing shoes. The photo essentially symbolizes what he does for this contest and helping new steemians get involve!
Again an awesome photo done up by @yeszuzia . She is absolutely incredible and I love the art she's doing for IFC!

Damn. like I've said so many many times, glad to not be a judge. Fine work there, Looks like you hit a triple, will the judges make it a homerun for you? Will @amariespeaks jump high, and grab the ball out of the air, will @beeyou snag that fast rolling ball and make a perfect toss to the first baseman? Will @sadrina.life come flying in from out of left field to snatch victory from defeat? Will @noisyboy come stumbling out of the stands and trip everyone up? Or will it be @deliberator flying in on his motorbike sliding into everyone like we were walking dead to be taken out. We wait and see.

Excellent entry! Great ideas. I love that artwork of @bashadow! I think this is the most comprehensive and detailed post I've seen for Round 11 and, whether it can all be implemented or not, you've got my vote!
I thought of the idea but @yeszuzia brought it to life and I was blown away. The pieces of art work just keep getting better id say. Thanks for the vote @rarebooksleuth :)
Not going to be able to respond in more detail tonight afterall, just got too busy and too overwhelmed and my brain is tired, I need to sleep on these ideas and will do my best to give a more detailed response tomorrow. :)
I'll just comment to all three on here! No worries and of course its just my entry so not trying to alter the game at all just giving my ideas on how it could be improved in my eyes but it may not necesairly be the vision you have for the game which Im completely ok with! now I'm not too familiar with the games like this.. so I do have a question (may be a stupid one lol) when you ranked all the players that XP column - why is it two numbers with the dash? like Player 7 0-215 then player 8 50-125 what do those numbers mean? lol don't worry I read how XP is awarded - and I like the idea lol I'm just confused why its a range of points? or am I misreading it
Ahh awesome question that I think I should have made clearer on my part earlier. I sometimes just think people can read mind and understand what I’m saying. I’ll try and explain it in an easy way because I’m sure a lot more people will be wondering the same thing.
Look at it like this:
Studen | grade | points to pass
Instead of
Player | level | XP
So each studen starts in grade 0. He needs a certain amount of points to pass grade 0 and move on to 1st grade.
In the case I made to go to the next grade you need (0-90) 90 points to move to the next grade.
So if someone gets one vote and the vote is worth 15 points. The student would still be in grade 0. But he would have 15 out of the 90 points needed (15-90) I hope that makes sense! :)
And as you get to higher grades you need more points to pass and move onto the next grades!
Also thanks for the feedback on the artifact ideas! I didn’t make the drawings just the usage of each artifact!
