[Urban Sketcher] Mido Cafe 城市速寫：美都餐室

After rainy and cloudy days, it is a sunny Satuday and hot! I draw several watercolor illustrations and today I go out for a urban sketch. I went to the Mido Cafe in Temple Street, Yao Ma Tei, Kowloon. I like the retro feeling of the cafe, like entering a movie scene. It is also a famous tourist spot.

It was founded in 1950, and still keeping the interior design now. A witness of the Hong Kong history. It has 2 floors. The upper floor has booth seats, facing the view of Temple Street.

連續幾天的下雨天和陰天，今天來一個非常晴朗的星期六！熱到快中暑。在幾篇水彩插畫後，今天來一個室外城市速寫：）美都餐室在九龍的油麻地的廟街，除了本地人，這裡也是遊客勝地。我很喜歡它那種RETRO氣氛，像走進了電影場景～

美都餐室（英文：Mido Cafe）位於香港九龍的油麻地廟街63號。
美都餐室於1950年開業，直至今日仍保留1950年代的裝潢，見證著香港歷史，除地下外更有當年十分普遍的二樓雅座，可以瀏覽廟街及榕樹頭的街景。餐室以焗排骨飯、蓮子鴛鴦冰聞名，不少遊客專誠到餐室感受香港傳統風味。- wikipedia

Arrived in noon. A construction work here, thanks for the bamboo temporary canopy in the sunny day.
中午時到達。幸好有工程臨時竹棚給我擋擋陽光...

Fill in the color. This is from Pental watercolor tube set. Super light and convenient.
填色～這是PENTAL牌的管裝水彩擠出來的，帶出外很輕便～

Finished and let go into the cafe~ I need drinks...
完成了，很熱... 進去吃東西，降溫...

This is French toast. One of the favourite among the locals. Also Hong Kong Milktea.
這是法蘭西多士，簡稱西多，還有奶茶～地道美食～

Finished lunch. How about draw one more piece? But it is full, my seat is in the corner, facing the wall = =
吃完了，坐坐也畫一張～這是滿座的中午，我被擠到角落面壁了= =

Back to the MTR entrance. Then, I went to the next block. There is a art supply store I always visit.
回到地鐵出口那邊，然後去了隔一條小馬路的中南美術用品中心。我常常去那裡逛～

There are warning of no photo everywhere in the shop. I didn't take everywhere, um... only the most most most favourite part : the pigment family （>_<）
它到處都是不准拍照的告示，所以我也不隨便拍了，但...偷偷拍了一下最喜歡的顏料櫃，對不起了...
