What is a Silver Lining? - Embrace CommunitysteemCreated with Sketch.

Every cloud has it's silver lining. Have you ever heard that phrase? Life tosses us some challenges at times that we often can't see the bright side.

The Light Is Always There

That light that warms our face and illuminates our path can be hidden behind dark masses for too long. Sometimes we forget the light exists. The Silver Lining is that moment when the light breaks through showing the bright side once again. Even in your worst times, your worst experiences you can have hope. That light is there just waiting to break through the darkness to show the way once again.

When You Are In The Dark

Embrace community. Draw close to those around you. Support each other. Don't lose hope. Be willing to accept the love and assistance from those who shine with joy. For me this is founded in my faith in Jesus Christ. I know that He is the creator and holds me even in times of darkness. Life was never promised to be easy, but there is a promise of love and protection.

Psalm 91 is inspirational and encouraging.

At Times When The Light Shines Bright

Celebrate with community. Dance with your friends. Share your gifts in joy. It is truly wonderful when things go right, when life seems like everything is ok and nothing can go wrong. Enjoy those moments. Look around in those times for others who are possibly stuck in a dark moment. Use your light to illuminate their path and to warm them in a cold and trying time.

In Mark 12 Jesus tells of the greatest commandment. A teacher of the law questions Jesus with this; “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”. I'm sure many expected Jesus to reply with one of the 10 written commandments, but instead answered saying that loving God with your enitire being is most important. Second to that is loving those around you. Of course I paraphrased that, but the point (as I see it in this context) is that life is all about LOVE. Love IS our Silver Lining in all dark situations.

This community, even online, is a silver lining for many. Share this space in love always seeking to inspire and encourage each other. I'm here with you. I will share my light and dance in the good times and hope to lean on you when the light hides behind the dark clouds of life here on Earth. Peace be with you ✌️ ❤️

inspirational brother ... have a great weekend @daddykirbs

Such a wonderful and positive post!

Thanks for the encouraging post! I love the way Yeshua (Jesus' Hebrew name) is quoting the words of the Lord that Moses wrote down. Indicating that He didn't come preaching a new message(John 7:16, John 12:49) but one that was already written down from His the Father found in the Torah. Mark 12:29 starts by quoting the Shema, a very important prayer to anyone who has been grafted into Israel. Verse 30 comes from Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and Verse 31 comes from Leviticus 19:18. Blessings to you and your family! Shalom!
