Steem skillshare comment contest| What’s better to have, great imagination or lots of knowledge?
Last week I organized a comment contest and it ended up well. I was ecstatic to have such a high level of participation and to read the creative answers from the participants.
Today, I have come up with another simple contest for you all, in which I would like to know your thoughts regarding imagination and knowledge.

The contest's theme is "What’s better to have, great imagination or lots of knowledge?" This is a comment contest; all you have to do is leave a comment answering this question under the post.
Lets have a look at the rules:

- Comment under this post using 50-100 words.
- Only one entry one person is allowed. Language : English.
- Plagiarism should be avoided at all costs.
- Invite at least 3 of your active friends to this competition.
- You must resteem this post.
- You are free to use any image (only 1 photo) of your own or from internet with proper source.(Optional)
On the basis of grammar, lexical resources, spelling, sentence structure, and originality, compliance with the rules, I will choose the top five comments. As a result, be specific and creative in your response.

Imagination Is Better Than Knowledge
This topic I'll explain with the logic and life style of legends. But before starting I would like to thank @ftz for arranging this interesting contest where we can share our logical opinion.
Imagination is a kind of power and knowledge is also a power which come from imagination. So they are related to each other. There is no human who born with huge knowledge, we practice it and acknowledged.
Imagination is a thing which often become the reason of miracles and history is the witness of those miracles.
Once human imagine to fly up above the sky like a bird and you can see today we are flying on aeroplane. It was once impossible and miracle for many people, today It possible.
Sir Thomas Edison who invented electricity who was not a good student and teachers sent a letter to his mother to bring him to another school as he was not knowledgeable. But history is the witness of his invention and proved that being knowledgeable is not always everything, but having imagination can invent things that makes us special someone.
You surely heard about Sir Einstein who most of the time forgot the address of his home but now the whole world appreciate his laws, take higher studies on his laws, he became a legend even he was forgetful but he had a great power of thinking and imagine that made it possible.
Acknowledging is good as well but imagination is better specially when you practicing knowledge.

Personally I think having lots of knowledge is way better than having a great imagination because through knowledge , we can achieve any thing we want.
Having imaginations is not bad, but if one lacks knowledge on how to portray their imaginations, then they can’t bring out the beauty in the imagination.
Knowledge is a necessary key because through it, one is able to know what to do. It is the knowledge one has hat can help them get imaginations on what to produce.
I have had lots of imaginations and I would very much want all of them to come true but I lack knowledge on how to bring out some of my imaginations. It needs a lot of knowledge, planning, finances and skill for my imaginations to come true.
In Conclusion, I still say it is better having lots of knowledge then imaginations.

I prefer to have a lots of knowledge because when you have lots of knowledge it's already acquired within you and nobody can removed it from yourself. It can be acquired in many ways like reading and through experiences. There's an evidence or results of having lots of knowledge.
Though, imagination needs in the process of getting and acquiring knowledge but still knowledge prevails to be better than imagination.

To me, to have lots of knowledge is better than to have a great Imagination! To prove my point, I will tell you the reasons why I chose having lots of knowledge over having great Imagination.
First of all let me define knowledge according to English dictionary:
When you have a lot of knowledge on something, you can apply the knowledge to something innovative to serve the society at large.
For example, the person that developed this steemit platform have a lot of knowledge on programming before he was able to apply it to the real world. Knowledge is applicable, which means you can apply your knowledge gained/acquired from somewhere to the real world existence. Expatiating more on this, I can tell you the knowledge gained in a specific field adds value to the society. You can't only imagine without applying some knowledge. Like they say "Knowledge is power". With These few points of mine, I believe you're now convinced that having knowledge is better than having great Imagination! Thanks!!

Hello @ftz thank you for having this kind of contest where in we can share our opinions and get some learnings from others. Here is my opinion of what is better having great Imagination or lots of Knowledge
For me Having great Imagination is better than Lots of Knowledge , because having lots of knowledge limits only what you have known and what you have understand from the things or people you have learn to know.
For me having a great Imagination is better, why?
Having a great Imagination let's you explore things more than the way they are.
Imagination is the way of creating on your mind new ideas or reproducing things that it can be done. Like some of the technologies we have right now started from Imagination. Like traveling to the moon is beyond our great imagination.
Imagine it and you can do it!!!
Like here on Steemit, i think most of us don't have knowledge about blogging. But because of our Imagination that we can do it then here we are. We share and we learn and we earn (not just monetary value but friends also 😊)
Imagination is a way to be more creative in what we do. We may not have the knowledge to do it but imagining that we can, we may not know it right there we have achieve it.

With imagination we create what we want, if we put emotion to that thought through visualization, we begin to generate knowledge to make it come true.

Why Imagination Is Better Than Knowledge?

What’s better to have, great imagination or lots of knowledge?
After thorough thinking and comprehension of this question, I have come to the conclusion that you can't really have one without the other, you can't honestly say that imagination is only important in a man's life or having all forms of knowledge alone is the way forward. Ben Carson the best neurosurgeon ever had was once dull boy who could not even read or learn anything but with the help of his mother and determination he turned be the best in his field. What does this mean to me, that even if he had all kinds of imagination and didn't have a little bit of knowledge about what he was getting into, he would have failed. One who has an imagination of the future must have the ability/the mindset and the knowledge of how to carry out the task ahead, he must be able to plan how it is going to work out, if not failure will be the order of the day. One who has only knowledge but don't know how to use this gift to think up better ways for a situation is in a limbo. I would prefer to work hand in hand with them.
