Dr Odin pulse finger pulse oximetre is a tool used to measure oxygen level in blood and heart rate. So this tool is important in all conditions where measurement of either oxygen or heart rate is required. This tool has gained widespread importance from last one year since the emergence of global COVID 19 pandemic. Earlier, it used to be tool of doctors working is hospitals or patients having respiratory diseases. But now masses of people are purchasing this tool to monitor their oxygen levels.

One more important thing that can be measured but is rarely talked about is perfusion index. It measures signal strength of pulse at the site of measurement.

How to use

Let me demonstrate on myself ;

• Turn it on with its on/off button

• Press it from rear end and it will open
  

• Insert your finger
  

• Wait for sometime till the graph on its base which starts from one side touch the symbol of beating heating on other side.

• Further wait few seconds untill you see fluctuations in spo2 has stabilized and that is the final result.

How to interpret

You can only make effective use of this tool when you know what are the normal vaulea of different oaramaetees measured via PO.
