Hello to everyone in this great community and in this wonderful platform at large. I salute you all in good spirit and I want to believe that we all are doing just well today.

I welcome you all to yet another great time in the steemit platform regarding the steemit engagement contest season 8 week 1 that has been brought forward by the steemit team in other to improve engagement among users in this platform.

Today I will be participating in this community engagement contest that has been organized by the community team which has been tagged gender visibility and equality. So I urge you all to relax and stay cool as I drop my entry regarding this contest today.

How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

The whole idea of gender-equal world is to create an equilibrium and maintain power among the respectful gender in the world. To achieve this set objective, one must orient the world through several programs and workshops to enlighten both male and female about gender equality and stop the ill attitude of segregation among male and female in the world.

Organizing talk shows and meetings to educate especially the young ones regarding gender equality and fair distribution of power and right among the male and female gender to create a better world. This would help the system to maintain and build the notion of gender-equal world.

Can celebrating Women's International day increase visibility and equality?

Yes it will. The reason is because celebrating women is done intentionally and as so it will increase the visibility and equality as they are supposed to be celebrated. Just the way men also have a special day that is set aside for their celebration in same light, celebrating women is essential too as we get to see both genders being celebrated equally.

Are the Feminism fight and the Women’s Rights fight the same?

Yes they are the same. Because the feminism fight is after the gender equality and also giving women a hand to their rights just as the men have right. Women's rights also focuses on basic things regarding gender equality too.

So for the fact that they all focus on equality between the both gender indeed they are same regarding their delivery aspect. They both focus on creating an avenue where women would have the same rights as men do and there should be equality in all aspect of life.

What do you say about women in top positions like Presidents, Parliamentarians, Senators, CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), and COO (Chief Operations Officers)? Give possible examples in your country(community)

My take regarding women being in such executive positions is a great idea. Remember we are in a democratic system whereby everyone has rights to things they do.

In that light political pursuit should not basically to be seen among men, women are also entitled to such positions and that is why gender equality is necessary and that is the aim of both feminism fight and women's right. So to me I find it a good idea as though we are all equal irrespective of the gender.

A clear scenario can be spotted out here in the state where I reside. The vice governor of Kaduna state is a female and the governor is a male. This is a clear explanation of gender equality and with this there is equal rights among both genders.

What makes a Good Leader (Gender or merit)

What makes a good leader is never gender but merit. Good leadership is earned by merits and not gender. I have seen where men and women failed greatly in running either a community or country. So when we talk about merit it means that the individual is sound and good in all ramification regarding leadership.

One can only make a good leader by merit and not by gender. Each gender has failed in a way or another but when one has good mind and he or she is kindhearted, known by all to be a good individual, then one can vividly say such individual is a good leader. In a nutshell good leadership is made by merit and not gender.

CONCLUSION

This is an interesting topic from this community I must say. Talking about gender equality is a great thing and I am glad that this topic was caved out this week being a week to celebrate all women internationally.

Goodness me, @solexybaba! That piece of yours truly blew me away! You have a way with words that leaves me speechless, and your insight into gender equality is exceptionally impressive. Your writing carries so much power and optimism, like a ray of light on a dim day! Furthermore, I want to say how much I admire the way you bring attention to the need for educating people from both genders on gender equality and to commemorate Women's International Day. In addition, the point you made about leadership being based on ability and not gender is completely on target. You are an astounding writer, and I cannot wait for the next time I get to read your work. Keep on being luminous as a diamond, girl! ❤🧡💛💙💖

This is a very interesting post you've written the way you brought everything in to light is amazing. Thank you for sharing such light towards gender equality

Building a fair and decent society requires gender equality, which is more than just a responsibility. A more inclusive and equitable environment can therefore be created by taking proactive steps, such as hosting community education activities.

Organizing talk shows and meetings to educate especially the young ones

Exactly. I concur with that idea. Also, is the household approach. We have to stop every form of discrimination in our homes and as well educate of children properly to know that both genders can achieve whatever they want in the society. Chores should not be segregatory, but rather be assigned to all concerned. We cannot prepare the girl child for a better future in their homes and wont prepare the boy child. They are both imprtant. This is a long-term project but gradually, this war can be won.

Thanks for sharing...Goodluck
