Greetings to you and welcome to my post today. Indeed I am so delighted to participate in the contest that was organized in Steem Cameroon titled: "cyber bullying".

Friend, the truth is that cyber bullying is a serious trait that is confronting teenagers in the internet. Let's take a look at what I have discussed in details concerning that.
What is your understanding on Cyber bullying?
My understanding on Cyber bullying is that it is simply the bullying that happen over the internet through the uses of digital devices like computers, tablets, palmtop and Smartphones. Cyber bullying can happens through different means such as text message, applications, social media chat, forum and even gaming center where people can gather together view and share content within themselves.
As I have earlier said, that Cyber bullying is a serious trait that is confronting teenagers through the use of digital devices that take place from posting, sending or sharing of negative content, false content, harmful content about something that is not helpful. Infact cyber bullying is a bullying that take place in many ways which can be through sharing of personal information about someone without the person concern which thereby makes the person to start feeling humiliated.
Have you ever been a victim or perpetrator of Cyber bullying?
I haven't been a victim or perpetrator of cyber bullying before because I don't like engaging myself in long conversation over the internet.
Give an instance (if any) wherein you or someone you know felt bullied in cyberspace, and what spiked such a feeling. (It could be throughout any social platform)
Yes I knew of someone that felt bullied in cyberspace, which makes the person to starting feeling so afraid. This was how it happened. There was one of my friend back then in school that love playing football game, that got a texts from his teammates where they were seriously blaming him for the loss of the game their had.
My friend received countless traits from his teammates informing him never to joined them in training again. My friend was so afraid to inform his coach and his parents about the bullying his teammates were sending to him, instead he tolerated the bullying through out the semester year. The next year my friend don't return to football game.
Still on the matter, one of the team member, intend to turn other team members against my friend his girlfriend, whom happens to be the only pretty girl in they team. The entire football team are all friends on Facebook, but one of the team member went ahead and started telling most of the team members to removed the girlfriend of my very good friend for no reasons. My friend get upsets and told her girlfriend to quit both the game and that of they social media group.
How did this encounter affect this said person?
The encounter affected my friend is such a way that he started feeling guilty of no cause which makes him and his girlfriend to stopped playing football game during our stayed in school.
Indeed, it got to the extent that he couldn't go out to some certain places because of the humiliations that he received from his teammates.
How safe do you feel on Steemit? And have you ever felt bullied at any point in time? (on Steemit)
In Steemit I feel more safe as to compare to other platforms because here everyone has the right to voice out their view. Eversince, that I joined Steemit I don't think that I have ever felt bullied at any point in time.
What lessons did you gain from such a scenario? And what advice can you give to your audience?
I gain a lot of lessons from the scenario of what happened to my friend and his girlfriend. One of the lessons that I gained from the scenario is that I should never give listen ears to negative information, because the more you pay attention to negative information that is the more worries and afraid you would bet.
Secondly, the lessons of not to engage myself into arguments that has already been plan by some group of members on any group chats. The advice that I can give out to my audience is to follow the lessons which I have gain from that of my friend and his girlfriend. Thank you for stopping by...

Bullying whether online or offline is really traumatizing to the victim, and am glad you haven't experienced cyberbullying because it's really not something nice. I have learnt to always stay away from negative informations. Thanks for sharing such an educative lecture.

Although you haven't been a victim but several social media platforms have been attacked by this sole called hackers who tamper with people identities and cause havok to other people. It is important to watch out so well. Goodluck to you.

It interesting to see that you have really said a lot about cyber bullying and most at times, this thing can led to depression and intimidating which mostly come with fear and insecurities
But I want to assure you that what that friend did to the teammates was not good and that is because may be hewas seen his personal information on another website which make him to use it against her
But I also want to ensure that if he was a steemian he won'have found his self in such a situation and also for the fact that it is the best social media platform

We have a lot to learn from what happened to your friend and his girlfriend. These cyber criminals should be punished appropriately so that they don't do this to anyone else

Cyberbullying is a type of bullying or bullying that is carried out by abusing the internet to harass, threaten, embarrass, and mock others. To overcome this, parents can learn the language of young people, teach children manners, to guide children to maintain their social media accounts.
