@yakspeace posted this article 3 months ago in @colombia-original community. She titled the article "not all that glitters are gold". Its a story about her friend (Priscilla) who have been in a serious relationship with Daniel for six (6) years. In the story, @yakspeace narrated how she woke up one day to discover that Priscilla has broken up with Daniel. Base on her narration, she tried all she could to know exactly the cause of the break up but, Priscilla was not able to open up and tell her what happened. She also narrated how Daniel have been so kind and supportive to both Priscilla and her mother. Base on @yakspeace narration, everything around Priscilla suddenly changed after breaking up with Daniel. Priscilla became a big girl overnight and almost all the good things of life were available around her. After some days, @yakspeace discovered that her friend (Priscilla) has gotten a new and rich boyfriend who was giving her everything she needed. The story changed from good to bad when Priscilla was discovered dead on the street, and it was later realized that the new boyfriend used her for money rituals. What a sad ending! In deed not all that glitters are gold.

.......my thought/lessons learned......

The story is a actually heart touching. Its indeed a sad story. I have learned that as humans, we should not run away from our spouse who is so kind and caring simply because we found someone whose source of wealth is not known to us.

2@simonnigwehttps://steemit.com/hive-139765/@simonnwigwe/steemit-engagement-challenge-s3-w1-my-dreams-in-childhood-by-simonnwigwe
The article was posted 11 days ago in @steemkids community by @simonnigwe. He titled the article "my dreams in childhood". In the article, @simonnigwe made us to understand that when he was a child, he had a dream of becoming either a priest or medical doctor. From his narration, he developed interest in becoming a priest after joining the mass servants, while his intentions of becoming a medical doctor was driven by his uncle (Dr.K) who was a also a medical doctor. From his narration, he tried all he could to achieve either of his dreams, but his efforts always hit rocks. As such, he applied for a different course in the university, and he was offered admission to study computer science at federal university of wukari. Although, computer science was never his dream course, he fell in love with the course after some months of studying it. From his narration, he believed that nature played a major role towards his failure in getting to study his dream course. Nevertheless, he is not regretting it today because, he is happy with his current course of study (computer science).

.......my thought/lessons learned......

When were kids, we all had in mind what we want to become in future. Some people had the dreams of becoming lawyers, doctors, engineer's, computer scientists, pastored, etc. As we grow older to face the wider world, some of the conditions and circumstances around us begin to change our dreams. Some dreams get abortive due to family issues, financial crises, and for some people the universities play a role in changing our dreams by offering us different course of study. Nevertheless, do not be discouraged because as time goes on, you will get to realize that the course you are studying or studied is the best for you. Always remember that as we make our plans, God also have plans for us, and God's plans are always the best.

3@patjewellhttps://steemit.com/hive-188403/@patjewell/application-for-country-representative-of-south-africa-by-patjewel

This article was posted by @patjewell last month in @steemwomenclub as her application for south Africa representative. In the article, @patjewell made us to understand that she read the 14th June update about country representative many times. She also made it clear that she is a friend to many country representatives, and she is much aware of how the country representatives are carrying out their duties effectively. She also made it clear that after reading the 14th June update, she kept on asking herself if she is good enough to be a country representative. But other steemians like @ngoenyi and @harferri encouraged her to apply for the position. In her post, she listed all the criteria needed for someone to be eligible to apply for the position, and she met up all the criteria. Lastly, she promised to carry out her duties will all diligence if selected as south Africa representative, and that she is fully ready for the challenge.

.......my thought/lessons learned......

After reading her post, I understood that she have been a dedicated member of this platform, and due to her hardwork, she became friends to many steemians around the world. This really motivate me to also work hard so that I can make more friends around the world. I also have learned that, if you are effective in this platform, people will always encourage and motivate you to apply for positions.

With this I have come to the end of my review. Lastly I want to say thank you for reading.

I invite @yakspeace, @patjewell, @joymm to participate.
