INTRODUCTION

I'm happy to be part if this interesting contest in @steem-cameroon community with the theme National or International Awareness Day, and in today's post i will be discussing about National Human Trafficking Day by following the contest tips.

WHAT DO YOU ABOUT NATIONAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING DAY?

Before i start telling you what National human trafficking day is, i would first of all define human trafficking.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

According to my own understanding, human trafficking is an illegal modern day slavery which involves forcefully transportation of people for the purpose of sexual exploitation, labour or any activities that will benefit others financially.

NATIONAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING DAY

It's a day that was set to raise awareness about the persistent issue and plight of the victims of human trafficking, and also to promote and protect their right.
January 11^th is the day that was set to recognize National human trafficking.

HOW DO YOU OR YOUR COUNTRY OR ORGANIZATION CELEBRATE THE DAY?

Though different people and countries have their own way of celebrating it, but in my country we celebrate national human trafficking day by carrying a very large cardboard paper with a write up "stop human trafficking" etc, then we walk in groups all over the city shouting "say no to human trafficking".
But to me, sometimes o do join them or i just stay back home and post about it on the social media(Facebook).

WHAT IMPACT DOES YOUR COMMUNITY GAIN DURING AND AFTER THE COMMEMORATION?

It always have a huge impact in my community, cause when group of people go out carrying big cardboard, flyers writing about national human trafficking day, all the youth will definitely join and became of that they won't be school that particular day, though other works like banks will be ON, but for school and market you won't see anyone untill say no to human trafficking is finish.

WHAT ISSUE OF CONCERN WILL YOU RECOMMEND TO BE COMMEMORATED THIS WEEK AND ON WHAT DATE?

I can't really think of anything to be Commemorated this week shaa, but i would like to still recommend 13 January to be Commemorated as World Remembrance Day.
