New year's Day is the most significant and most awaited day for everyone. It is the most wonderful day which is used to start the new year. At the start of each year it is celebrated on 1st January. It is a special day which is celebrated by the whole world. It combines all the nations and the communities throughout the whole world.
It teaches the lessons of the last years and it encourages us to set our goals for the next year. Many people use this day as a starter of the new life by promising New things to do in the new year. It proves to be a more diligent day than others. It gives us a chance to forget the past days and to work for the next days which are ahead. It motivates us to do better than the previous years.
New Year's Day also encourages people to have a fresh start. It is the time to forget the past regrets and to focus on the new goals and targets to achieve in the new year. It encourages us to think about next year. People organise their schedules and they make positive changes to their lives. It also encourages personal growth.Moreover New Year's Day serves as a reminder as well to say thanks to the blessings and bounties of the the past year.
How do you or your country or your organization celebrate the day? (50–100 words)
This is a global day and it is celebrated by all the organisations. Organizations of all types accept this new day with a great spirit. Various events and activities occur for the celebration of this great day. Different communities in my country and business collaborate with each other to celebrate this amazing day with their best. Different seminars occur for the celebration of the new year's day.
Gatherings of all people and parties eagerly welcome the new year's day and the new year. This day is celebrated when th the addition of the cultural activities, music, and entertainment. People distribute things for the blessings of this day. It is welcomed and celebrated with the delicious foods and by creating a wonderful and impressive joyful environment for the whole community and organisation.
The roads and the streets are decorated to welcome the new year. In some specific places cakes are cut especially in the government gatherings to welcome the new year's Day with new spirit and courage. Everyone becomes very excited and even fireworks are displayed to celebrate this day. Due to the fireworks the sky looks very beautiful and it shines. These colours represent the excitement of the people. In the print as well as in the electronic media advertisements are made about this day. The new year's Day is celebrated by hosting different programmes at the televisions. People do not sleep all night in the excitement of this day. They remain awake to welcome this day.
As we know that the Palestine and eissue is going on and Israel is killing the innocent Palestinians. And being Muslim country our prime minister has decided this time not to celebrate the new year to show the solidarity with the Palestine. Because they are in pain and how can we celebrate this day. So this time the prime minister has banned it's celebrations. But still people are very excited for this day. People are hoping that this year can be proved a good year for Palestine to solve their problems.
What impact does your community gain during and after the commemoration? (50–100 words)
It has a great impact on the community. The impact of New Year's Day celebrations on the community is profound. All the community becomes very excited on this day. People make different posts for the new year's Day. They make different posters for this day. They advertise their pictures with the new year slogans. They post the new year's day quotes in the social media.
People change their profile pictures according to the new year's day. They make statuses and publish stories to show their excitement and to welcome and celebrate the new year's day. They consider their past year and recall it. They promise to make the new year more better during this day. They try to set their goals and to achieve them.
This day also unites the whole community. It raises awareness about the union and strength. It teaches them to support each other to live a healthy and wealthy life. The union of all the people at this day makes us more strong. People perform different fireworks in the sky. People make special fireworks which can represent the new year's day and the new year. It foster the love between the whole community. People commit each other and assure each other that in the new year they will support each other and they will work for the development of the whole community.
Additionally New Year's Day celebrations have a positive economic impact on local communities. As on this day tourism is increased and people visit hotels and restaurants to arrange parties and celebrations. So these businesses generate revenue. It also helps the local community entrepreneurs to earn money by showcasing their products. People buy and sell especially designed shirts for the new year's day.
What issue or concern will you recommend being commemorated this week and on what date?
The next week on the January 1st on Monday the world peace day is coming along with the world's new year's day. I will recommend to commemorate the world's peace day on the first day of the new year. As without the peace we are nothing so at this day along with the new year's day it should be celebrated. Awareness about the peace should be raised. We should tell the importance of the peace and unity among the people. This is a dedicated day to raise awareness about the peace and harmony among all the individuals and all the nations. It gives us the lesson to resolve the conflicts and problems collectively. If we face any problems then we should work together to cope with those problems to maintain the peace and harmony of this world.
Conclusion
New Year's Day is a time of celebration for the whole world irrespective of the colour, race or religion. It gives us the opportunity to remember the amazing actions of the past year and to forget the bad things of the previous year. And it encourages us to do better things in the next year. It helps for personal growth and development. New year's Day is a moment of happiness and to set new goals. It is an important day to take a fresh start. It is a globally celebrated day. Every community is involved in it.
