Every national and international day has its own importance and they are celebrated according to the celebrating community. Being a Pakistani I have chosen a national day which is known as Iqbal Day. This day is coming in this month after a few days. So I am going to share it by following the community guidelines.

What do you know about the day? (Make sure you mention the actual date) (50 -100 wards)

Iqbal Day is celebrated in the commemoration of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal on November 9 every year. Actually Dr Iqbal was born on November 9 1877 and at his birthday it is celebrated. This day was named at the name of Mr. Iqbal who was a great poet. Iqbal Day reminds us about the most amazing personality Dr Iqbal. He roses the Muslims of the subcontinent of India from the sluggish behaviour with his powerful and thought provoking poetry. He raised the spirite of the Muslims to know themselves and to stand for themselves to get a separate piece of land where they would be able to do their duties freely without hurdles and interruptions. Finally he gave the creative idea with his poetry.

How do you or your country or your organization celebrate the day? (50–100 words)

We believe that Iqbal is our hero. He is also known as eastern poet or poet of east. He is not only famous in Pakistan but in others countries as well. And his books were translated in many other languages. At this day there is an official holiday from the working routines.

Before the start of this day different preparations are done especially in the educational institutions. Students prepare speeches, debates and tribute songs. Different competitions are held among the students. All the nation is aware of by the great work done by him. At his tomb greeting tribute is given by the armoured parade and with the tanks. And all the tomb is embellished greatly. And the higher authorities also join this tribute parade and the guards are also changed at this day.

What impact does your community gain during and after the commemoration? (50–100 words)

This day holds amazing impacts at the community. Before the start of this day celebration preparations are made. At the local areas different stalls come into being. They have special things related to the Iqbal Day event. People buy specific shirts to show their love and dedication towards this day. Poetry competitions in the art councils occur.

In the electronic as well as print media promotions advertisements related to the event are published. Television programmes representing this day are scheduled at specific time period. People introduces short stories and movies for the sake of this day. People also buy special badges to imprint at their shirts. It changes the whole environment and there comes a new climate which raises the spirite of everyone especially the youth.

What issue or concern will you recommend being commemorated this week and on what date?

As far as I think everyone is aware of the war of Palestine and Israel. This war is going on and it is killing a large number of poor and helpless people of Palestine. They Israeli authorities are continuously bombing at them. Many people including innocent children, women, men either they are young or old are being killed by them without any mercy. In this way the people of Palestine are loosing their families.

I want to say that other higher authorities should communicate in this war and they should try to save both the countries from the war. And moreover I want to say and want to convey my message to all the Muslims countries that they must help the poor Palestinians. Being atomic power Pakistan should take strict action against them so that Israel can stop their merciless behaviour with the Palestine.

There is another option also available to discourage the economy of Israel. I request to not buy the Israeli products so that they cannot raise funds to hurt Palestine. I want that these implementations should be enforced right now but if it does not stop it's brutal attacks at Palestine then at November 9, 2023 Pakistan should send it's troops with the atomic power usage permission. And we should celebrate Iqbal Day by helping our helpesss poor Palestinians.
